Come experience the breathtaking sunsets in this lovely Bayfront home, only two blocks from 25th street Beach in Ship Bottom. Magnificent bay views on two sides, feels like boat living. Four spacious bedrooms, (4th bedroom not available in the off season). 3 Bedrooms upstairs, 1 lower on ground level) 3 Full Baths, (3rd bath not available in off season) two up, one down), open living room, kitchen, dining room overlooking large deck, on the upper level with fully electric large retractable awning. Lower Bar/Rec room, bedroom, exercise equipment, foos ball table in room with sliding doors that open to rear lower deck, hot tub and bay views. Also on lower level, laundry room with extra full bathroom and large shower. LOWER LEVEL ONLY AVAILABLE IN OFF SEASON WEATHER PERMITTING. Long dock, great for fishing and crabbing; boat slip INCLUDED! House sleeps 8 in four bedrooms and one sofa bed in upstairs living room. Walking distance to fishing pier, marina, boat rentals, restaurants, mini golf, and all the best of what Ship Bottom has to offer. Swim. Stand up paddle board, kayak and beach badges provided for your enjoyment.

Owner has garage storage space with separate entrance, on the ground level which may be accessed on occasion by owner.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: The individual booking must meet a minimum age requirement of 25. Photo ID will be required at booking. Prom and graduation groups are not permitted. The person booking the rental must reside at the rental, during the entire rental period (parents may not secure rental for children under 25 and not reside at the rental during the rental period).

We had an amazing time at the LBI Bayfront Beauty. There was plenty of room for 8 adults and 2 children. Owner was hands on and addressed an problems promptly. The location was amazing bay in the backyard and ocean 1 1/2 blocks.Restaurant, mini golf and ice cream all walking distance!

This is a nice house to rent for a weekend getaway with friends. Owners were nice and very helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone interested in a restful weekend by the water.

Relaxing Getaway in Ship Bottom

My family and I had a wonderful time at this beautiful bayfront home. The sunsets on the deck were amazing. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and the beds were very comfy too. Very walkable to the beach. Great Wedding Weekend

Perfect water view!

The views and location of this home are incredible! We used the provided kayaks and paddle boards and loved to be able to leave them right off the dock in the backyard. We saw incredible sunsets from the beautiful deck and hot tub. There are lots of restaurants, ice cream, bakeries, and shops all within walking distance.

Perfect Birthday Weekend

We stayed here with our daughter and a few friends for her Sweet 16 weekend. It was the best location! The girls enjoyed the bay and the paddle boards (no kayak as stated in listing), and had a short walk to the beach. Communication with the owners was great, they couldn’t have been nicer!

We absolutely loved this property. The check in process was smooth and seamless, the home was clean and beautiful. The location on the island was perfect. I grew up going to Beach Haven, but this was a first trip for my husband and kids. They all said they never wanted to leave. We mostly used the top floor living area. The bonus downstairs efficiency was helpful for the older kiddos to have a tv hang out area. There were a couple of super minor cosmetic items that we made a note of, but they were not concerning to us. Nothing is perfect. We saw the manager at check out and already plan to book again next year. Can’t wait!! Thank you for a wonderful trip!!!

Quaint Coastal - Awesome View

Our stay was great - what a beautiful view! The home was perfect for my husband and our 9 month old daughter. Traditional beachy vibe. This is not a negative but something to be aware of - the stairs to go downstairs inside the home are a metal spiral staircase. Carrying the baby up and down them was a challenge so we predominantly used the outdoor deck steps.

First time staying on the bay

House has unbeatable view of water and sunsets! It was perfect for my family of six. Downstairs area gave my oldest some privacy and is great for giving teenagers some space. Also has an area for computers for anyone that needs to remain a little connected for business, etc. All enjoyed swimming in the bay, especially our 5 year old. Kayaking was great fun and the hot tub glorious. Appreciated the appliances as we love to cook for each other. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Nancy and David.

Gorgeous view to wake up to.

By day two it felt like home. The view was gorgeous, especially in the morning with coffee. There was both a Keurig and regular coffee maker to use and all the basics you would need in a kitchen.Plenty of things to do and see even though our stay was preseason. The house was clean and comfortable. The only issue we had were the uncomfortable beds. That would be a wise inexpensive investment since most are looking for a good nights rest while on vacation. Otherwise this stay would have been 5 stars easy!

Very Enjoyable

Nancy and David own and maintain a wonderful bayfront home on LBI - Surf City. This is my first Bayside vacation and I enjoyed the hot tub beside the bay as much as I enjoyed sitting oceanfront on a deck (during previous visits to LBI). Their home is lovely, absolutely clean and stocked with MANY daily-use items in perfect condition. The location, although basically very close to the island bridge is positioned on a property that feels relatively secluded (based on the house placement at the end of the block). Then, mature growth landscaping creates a visual block to the one side of the house that has "neighbors"). It is only 2 blocks from the ocean and 5 steps (or less) from the Bay on their private dock. We LOVED our stay in this home. Nancy was a kind and helpful host, patiently responding to my few pre-visit inquiries. Thank you Nancy and David for a VERY ENJOYABLE stay on Long Beach Island.

Owners, David and Nancy Leonetti are year round residents of LBI, and own a local construction business. David is a life long resident of LBI, whose family has a rich history on the Island, going back to the early 1900's. In addition to our Ship Bottom vacation rental, we also have rentals in Beach Haven, Costa Rica, and Florida, and will soon be unveiling a beautiful remodeled Victorian in the Lake Wallenpaupack region of Pennsylvania. Each of these locations, are our home away from home, and we are honored to share their unique locations and characteristics with you. We take pride in the work that we've done on these homes, and welcome feedback.

Why they chose this property

This home was our primary residence, and we have put a lot of love into every feature. We were poised to purchase this house, a foreclosure, the week before Sandy hit our area, but the evacuation of the island, delayed the transaction. Weeks later, when we were permitted back on the Island, we discovered that the house had been heavily damaged. However, all of the damage was contained to the lower level, and the lower decks, and dock, which we had planned on remodeling anyway. Long story, short, we completely remodeled the entire downstairs, partially for our office/garage space, replaced the lower deck and dock, put up fencing across the bulkhead (for safety for little ones), and repaired the hot tub which almost floated away in the storm. Then we proceeded to gut and remodel the entire second floor residence area, the rental space seen in the photos, which hadn't been remodeled since at least the early 90's.

What makes this property unique

As much as I love the work we did on the interior, the most endearing quality to us is the bay. The sunsets, the breezes, the wildlife....even the sunrises are spectacular, as the sun hits the houses on the mainland and lights everything up. The interior has the feel of being on a boat, with the windows on the south side which overlook the water and the fishing pier, coupled with the sliding doors overlooking the cove and wide bay view. The living area is not enormous, but is just the right combo of coziness, with plenty of space for your family. The large rear upper deck overlooking the bay, gives extra living space for to gather your family for sunsets. The bright and light open air feeling in the rooms, gives the place very a very relaxing and comfortable feel. We hope you will love it as much as we do. The bonus room on the ground level, give that extra space needed for your extended family, and friends.
