Great place to stay for a ski trip! Close to the bottom of the canyons, and near all sorts of restaurants and shopping. The kitchen is great for breakfast, and would be fine for stove top dinners (I ate diners out). It is in a surprisingly quiet neighborhood very close to a busy street, which is a perfect combination. It is a completely open floor plan (other than the bathroom). There are a couple super comfy oversized chairs for lounging after a hard day on the slopes, and the bed was nice and supportive. This would also be a fantastic base for day hiking in the summer. Overall, just the basics, but the basics done right!
This room was in the attic of a house, so for tall people it was a bit of a struggle, especially in the restroom. My son is 6 foot tall/180 pounds and had to squat down to wash his hair because of where the shower head was in comparison. They were there for just 2 nights so it wasn't a huge deal for them but had it been a longer trip that would have been a factor. The room was clean, the host was kind and prompt with messages, easy to get to the house. They were close to the NASP competition and the area had lots of food options.
This is a comfy place near the cottonwoods for skiing. You can walk to several nice restaurants by the fashion show mall. Its a great value and has everything you need to cook. You can hear the people downstairs a bit and as an attic apartment may be a little awkward for someone who is really tall.
The host was very hospitable, and made sure to check on me to see if I needed anything. The location is a block a way from a cool mall, and the big bean bag was pretty awesome.
Perfect location for easy access to Utah ski resorts!
The location was a perfect spot to access the UTA local shuttle to access places such as Snowbird or Brighton. As far as the place itself, it has everything you need. I would definitely stay here again!
Stayed at Skiers Crash Pad by myself before and thought it was awesome. Brought my family and they loved it. Its location is excellent. Will be staying here again. Highly recommend.
Even though the room is in the attic of a house, it has been very well thought out. The host had a problem with the turn over crew, so it wasnt ready for check in, but the host was very communicative and even gave us a partial refund for the trouble. Would recommend and would stay again.
This is a great skier's crash pad with everything you need for an affordable place for the gang to sleep and recover from their mountain activities. One of the twin beds was missing during our stay, making it good for sleeping 3 folks, which was okay because we only needed 2 beds.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
In spite of a failed check in, the stay was pleasant, the room large and comfortable, the little kitchen handy. The walls are thin, so the place is not very quiet.
Great location. Easy and off the 215. Nice and warm. Great place to stay for skiing Big and Little Cottonwood canyons. There were a couple of little glitches. The owner was very easy to communicate with and was responsive and accommodating.

I appreciate the review and feedback. We sincerely apologize for not restocking the TP before your arrival. Thanks for being flexible and communicating with us so we could address the issue promptly.
I will definitely stay here when I come back to SLC.The apartment was perfect for what I need, it's close to where I need to be, and the owner was very patient and accommodating. It was clean and nicely organized, and comfortable. It's pretty roomy and had a nice desk set up that made my studying space very functional.Special mention:It's Autumn in Salt Lake City and I am a super cold person. The host said they'd bring an extra blanket, but did me one better and brought the fattest blanket ever...AND a space heater. Couldn't have done better than that! That kind of thoughtfulness deserves a 5 star right out of the gate.
Very clean, great location, comfortable bed. Easy access to 215 and short drive to Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons. Good restaurants close by. Thai Spoon was a wonderful hole in the wall restaurant and Prohibition was great for a nice meal. Both recommended by Marcel. This was the perfect place for ski weekend. The only thing that would make this better would have been a toaster oven or toaster. Will be back!
This place was cute but small which really isn’t a complaint because I expected that. The most notable thing is that we had issue getting back into the room pretty late at night because there was some kind of issue with the pad lock. The host was responsive and told us where to find the emergency key and how to prevent that issue from happening again.

Perfect for what it is
It's exactly what it says it is. A "crash pad," but that's all we needed. Everything as was described in the listing. The only suggestion I would make is to bring a chromecast because even though it is a smart TV. You are limited to Netflix, Amazon and hulu. YouTube is not available. Marcel was great with information about the stay and gave us a great recommendation for a bar called Prohibition within walking distance. Just look up the password before you go or they will toy with you for a little bit before they let you in. We would all stay again if we come out this way.

Thanks for the feedback Chad. YouTube is available, the only reason it was missing was because I just had gone through a firmaware update and YouTube didn’t populated automatically.
We have also ditched the cable because guests had very low interest in it. Without the overhead we can keep the unit rates below average, thus giving a chance to people that travel on a budget to enjoy the Utah powder.
This place is huge value for the price!! I highly recommend for a stay in the Salt Lake City Area. I was in town for the Big Cottonwood Marathon and this could not have been a better choice. A small space very well thought out and extremely clean. It was great to have a fridge and cooking options. Every conceivable store is nearby. Coffee shop and restaurants within walking distance. I could have paid 3-4x more for a lesser hotel room. Host was fantastic and super responsive. Thank you for hosting me!!
