Built in 1936 and thoughtfully remodeled over time to retain the original historic charm, this quaint, 2 story beach cottage welcomes you with whimsical art glass and fun touches. Abalone Beach Cottage offers a comfortable floor plan that sleeps up to 6 guests, with 4 bedrooms and 1.5 baths providing the ultimate in peace and relaxation. You will love the dramatic beach and ocean views. Open the windows, hear the waves and sleep to the rhythmic sound of the surf. Whether watching whales or waves, sunrises or our famous Oregon coast storms, this home is perfect for a family vacation or a romantic getaway.

Provided for your enjoyment are Flat screen smart TV's where you can access apps such as netflix and hulu- bring your passwords! Also, DVD players, a stereo system, games, puzzles, DVDs, a gas grill and more.

Sleeps up to 6 - 4 Bedrooms, 3 Queens, 1 Full, 1 Queen Futon, 1.5 baths.
Vehicles: Licensed for 2 (Strictly enforced- No street parking allowed)
Standard: 2 night minimum; Summer & Holidays: 3-4 night minimum.

Nice spot

We like this property, its access to the beach and huge yard are a plus. It’s really roomy with comfortable beds. The hot tub and ping pong table were enjoyable

Nice House

We had a good time and enjoyed our stay. The kids had fun finding all the mermaids and we had awesome weather. The hot tub was well used and ping pong tournaments were great!Only thing that was annoying was how noisy the bedframes are.

Great place!

Stayed here for a girls weekend getaway. Lots of space for all of us! Wish we found the game room the first night we were there. Short distance to the beach. Love the rooftop dining area and hot tub! Definitely would come back!

Beautiful, whimsically decorated, well-equipped home.

Loved the mermaid theme that ran throughout the property. Our stay lacked for nothing except for a full propane tank, and the property managers would've taken care of that for us if we'd stayed any longer.

Wonderful Vacation Cottage

We had a fabulous time at the Abalone Beach Cottage, I was extremely happy with the amenities, the cottage is adorable and very clean, the kitchen is well equipped, the appliances are very nice and up to date, we used the BBQ grill and kites in the garage. I loved that the beach is so close and easy to access. I am very impressed with the ease of reserving, renting, checking in to and leaving the cottage, very friendly owners. We will be back next year!

Great cottage on the coast!

This was the perfect place for our weekend on the Oregon Coast! The cottage included everything we needed and it just steps from the beach. I loved the big windows in the kitchen and living room and was able to enjoy the beautiful sunset while cooking. The instructions from the owners were easy and we had no problems finding the place or getting in. Thanks so much for letting us stay!!

We thought the house very quaint. The bonus large yard was a nice surprise. The decorations of all the beach pictures and extras were lovely. We enjoyed the ocean views, especially in the upstairs bedroom. Definitely would book this property again.

Fantastic!!

We have been staying at this beach cottage for several years now and its always a great get away place for us to stay. The owners are friendly to deal with and they have been making nice upgrades to the home every year. The home is about half way between Yachats and Waldport (about 4 miles each direction) and is a perfect location if you want to visit each of the towns with a short drive.

Wonderful Location

Perfect location outside of town, quiet neighborhood. Easy beach access for able body (steep short hill, but 71 year old grandma did okay). Hot tub was nice way to end every day. Location was close to both Newport and Florence (half hour either direction) with the little town of Yahats only a few minutes away. Two 11 year olds enjoyed ping pong and the beach every day. For five people this was perfect.

Lovely old house almost on the ocean.

Very cute with lots of decorative details. Very comfortable living room and well maintained over all. There are some very narrow and steep stairs to the upstairs bedrooms. Some of the bedspreads were showing some wear and tear but that was the only criticism we had.

Close to the beach with access. Good view even though row of homes in front. Unique layout. Small kitchen but it worked. Comfortable. Loved the hot tub, game area in garage, and big yard.
