You can't get any closer to the beach...- miles of soft sandy beach at your doorstep. Great getaway from cares of the world!
“Contactless” Check in/ check out procedures have always been in place and CDC approved cleaning products are used by our cleaners. Special attention is given to high touch areas inc. Kitchen and bathrooms, light switches, and remote controls.

Weather is unpredictable.....can be sunny, stormy, or wild and windy but Hot tub is great any kind of weather:). It’s sure to be memorable!

This house has something for everyone. Adults and kids will enjoy views of beautiful sunsets, harbor seals at 'the point', and long beach walks. Everyone will enjoy the hot tub and your well-mannered dog will love it all! Annie's House is inviting, warm, and very comfortable. The open floor plan, large stone fireplace (wood not provided) and wall of windows will set the tone for the perfect family gathering. We'll let the pictures tell the story!

This home is a wonderful retreat for a couple, small family or two couples. A Bose music system and Wi-Fi are provided. There are 2 flat screen TVs ( master bedroom and living room) with Netflix subscription. The house has two bedrooms, one with a new king size bed, the second bedroom has a queen size bed. The master bedroom has an ocean view, TV, and attached full bath. The second bedroom has a stunning view of the Waldport bridge from its own private deck and a 6 person hot tub. You can view the bridge lights at night and sunrises in the morning! The kitchen is stocked with everything you would expect: dishes, glasses, silverware and appliances including coffee maker, Keurig, grinder, toaster as well as spices and some staples. You will love the view from the dining table.

Other amenities include two full baths, separate laundry room with W/D and laundry sink for sandy towels. A propane Weber grill is available seasonally. Also included is an attached two-car garage and protected porch for viewing the beach on those windy days. The single-level layout makes this house accessible for most guests.

If the beach isn't enough for you, there's the (seasonal) community pool ( for a fee) kite flying, tide pools ( nature is free!) dune buggies, the Newport aquarium, Sea Lion Caves, Yaquina and Heceta Head Lighthouses....and the list goes on!

Bring your kids, bring your dog, and leave your cares at home.

PS. Every effort is made to be sure the house is as represented here. Obviously, there are times when things break, batteries fail or remotes go missing! (Just like your house!) We try our best to correct these issues ASAP. However the universe is not under our control and we appreciate your understanding and flexibility!
We strongly request that guests not "re-program" television or add game systems etc that may change the configuration of inputs. This is so frustrating to correct and is not fair to the next guest!

Beautiful location/excellent view of the beach/ relaxing / kitchen has every need you could think of / wonderful for family watched pets( we brought sheets to cover couch and such to keep clean. Great place for walk and walks with dogs.Annie was a fantastic host. Welcoming and answered questions and replied back right away. Very nice and brings confidence to your choice and trip.

This was a great house in a wonderful location right on the beach, actually on the sand dunes overlooking the beach. The master bedroom bed was extremely comfortable and I loved having a working fireplace. Decent, sharp knives and non Teflon in pans in the kitchen was a real plus. The only drawback was that the refrigerator smelled of fish, even with a box of baking soda and still had a fishy smell 4 days later.

There was an issue with the water off so the cleaning staff had no water to clean. So we needed to wash and dry towels and run the dishwasher. The counters and table were sticky etc.The manager was apologetic and offered to send in the cleaners the next day of our stay. We declined as we had already taken care of most of it the first day. There was no adjustment to the cost of our stay for the condition the house was in.

We LOVED the property. Very nice experience to walk out the door onto the beach. For those reading this, I highly recommend going out in morning at low tide, turning left, and walking down to where the Alsea River outlets into the ocean. Lots of harbor seals playing in the water and lounging on the sand. A walk (or short drive) out onto the Alsea Bridge also has super views, with not only more harbor seals but also nesting cormorants. A couple of things we didn't expect that could have gone a bit better. There was no place to hang up clothes in the Master Bedroom, so we had to take chairs out of the entry closet to find a place to hang items. Wouldn't be a problem if you're just coming to lounge on the beach. Also, the TV didn't have any "standard apps" open. Thankfully there was a HDMI cable, so we fired up a laptop and streamed to the TV. Getting the TV set up for those that want to watch in the evening (or it was World Cup soccer for us) would be a nice touch. If it was just operator error, getting a more comprehensive TV usage would have been nice.Neither item took away from the experience. This is a great spot, and Waldport is a very cute (if quiet) town to camp out on the Oregon coast.Thank you.Frank

Why they chose this property

Initially, we bought it for the view. We later realized our good luck to be part of the authentic beach town of Waldport. Another benefit is the Bayshore area in particular. Off the main drag, the roads are quieter and perfect for hiking/biking/rollerblading. And after that, you can relax in the outdoor hot tub with a view of the Waldport bridge!

What makes this property unique

It's great to be removed from the hubbub of life. The slower pace of life in Waldport allows for more family time, and the natural beauty here is simply astounding. It restores your balanced perspective on life!
