About this property

Completely Renovated Treetop Townhome Next To Village and Slopes.

3 bedroom town home very conveniently located next to the village and slopes. Approximate walk times as follows:

3 min to edge of village/split rock pool, hot tub etc.
3-5 min to slopes/lift cutting through the woods/mountain lodge parking lot
5-10 min to slopes/ball hooter lift taking the path depending on ages of your children
7 min to Starbucks/Center of the village.

Clean unit with hardwood floors, granite countertops, a fully stocked kitchen, new appliances including dishwasher, range, refrigerator. The unit has a stack-able washer/dryer, gas-burning fireplace and two decks. There are 4 flat screen TVs in the unit (one in each bedroom in addition to the family room) and a Blue-ray player in the living room. The complex has a community fire pit which is great for family fun. FREE Wifi and nationwide long distance calling. AT&T service is sporadic on the mountain, however it works consistently in my unit.

This unit was originally a 2 bedroom, however underwent a major reconstruction and reconfiguration resulting in very open family space downstairs and 3 bedrooms up. The front bedroom has a queen bed and a set of twin bunks, the bunk room is a dream for kids with a single set of twin bunk beds, and the master has a queen bed.

Treetop Townhome was a beautiful home and was open and spacious compared to others we’ve stayed in. Everything was in working order and we had no issues whatsoever. The fireplace in the living room was wonderful - we used it every day. Having a washer and dryer to wash and dry items was so convenient too. The location is great as we used the exclusive Treetop trail to walk to the village. On our arrival day, the host allowed us an early check-in as they did not have a guest checking out that same day, which was so kind! We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect place for family

This was such a nice place for our family. We have rented so many places in Snowshoe but this accomodated us the best. All the kids had their own space and even grandma had her own place and was able to join us. It is very short walk to the Ballhooter lift right throw a small wooded area.

We enjoyed the space and the short walk to the slopes. Beds were comfortable as were the group living spaces in the downstairs area. 2 of the 3 bedrooms were a bit cramped. We were surprised to find that they didn't provide any bath soap or shampoo.

Great ski condo

This was our second time in this unit. Perfect for our family. Short walk to lifts. It’s an end unit so all the windows showed snow covered pine trees, felt like we were in our own cabin. Kids could explore the woods after skiing. We had a big storm coming in the day of our scheduled arrival and Kit was so kind and flexible helping us adjust things to avoid weather!

Lovely little ski chalet!

We loved this little ski chalet! Exactly what we were looking for - a place to stay together, within walking distance (thru a parking lot) to the slopes. Had everything we needed. Love the “third bedroom” which is super tiny, but worked with the bunks for our family. Would definitely stay there again! One note, the stairs going up are steep and tight. Grandparents may have an issue going up/down so be aware!

Nice sized condo - 3 bedrooms upstairs (with 1 full bath) and living room/kitchen/dining area downstairs (with 1 full bath). Great location - easy walking (few minutes) to Ballhooter Lift and Snowshoe Village. Clean and quiet. Kitchen was pretty well equipped for what we needed. Host was responsive. Was a great choice for our group of six (adults and teenagers).

Our family currently resides in Raleigh, North Carolina where I home school our four children. We moved from Houston about 14 years ago and luckily discovered snowshoe with in driving distance which allowed us the joy of skiing and ability to expose our children to beauty of the Mountains.

Why they chose this property

My husband and I met in college in Colorado and loved skiing. Relocating to the east coast we were thrilled to discover Snowshoe and its proximity. After exploring the mountain extensively we believe Treetop to be by far the best location on the mountain offering a feeling of privacy, yet so close to the slopes, pool and village restaurants.

What makes this property unique

The complex under went an extensive exterior architectural enhancement in the summer of 2015. Additionally my husband and our son spent four years completely renovating the interior of the unit complete with new hickory flooring, granite counters, windows, etc. making the unit truly a sight to behold!
