Peace in the countryside

Lovely gite and very helpful, friendly owners, Graeme and Anne. Good access to many wonderful locations. Next door to a second gite with shared pool, so some affect if neighbours are loud or hog the pool, but there are alternative locations to swim in the lake nearby if they do.

Graeme and Anne are wonderful hosts who are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our family loved our stay in Papillon which was a superb base to discover the wider area around Montendre. The facilities and accommodation have everything you need for a thoroughly enjoyable time. Spacious, relaxing and thoughtfully furnished in a delightful quiet spot just outside the town. The children loved the time in the pool and the games room kept them entertained late into the evening. We recommend visiting Cognac and doing the Hennessy tour. Saint Emilion is a beautiful day trip and perfect for pairing it with a Chateau tour. La double adventure in Montendre was great for outdoor activities for children and adults. Restaurant Cave La Quincaillerie in Montendre is excellent - we highly recommend! Thanks for a wonderful week.

Super séjour !

Nous avons passé un super séjour ! Tout était très propre et les propriétaires étaient vraiment très prévenants. Nous avons adoré la quiétude, le calme de cet endroit isolé qui permet une déconnexion totale. Tout ce dont nous avions besoin était présent. Nous notons bien l'adresse pour y retourner dans le futur et le recommandons !

Petit Havre de paix en campagne

Proche de Jonzac et Cognac, nous avons apprécié le calme des lieux. Le logement est impeccable et propre. La piscine non chauffée est à partager avec l'autre gîte de 6 personnes. Nous sommes tombés sur des voisins sympas , ouf ... Les propriétaires sont installés à côté, ils ne partent pas le français. Des petites attentions, vins œufs confiture pain....pour nous accueillir. Points négatifs : WC dans la SdB Manque d'étagères dans la SdB Pas de clim

Séjour reposant

Très agréable séjour chez Graeme et Anne qui sont aux petits soins pour leur locataires, discrets et très prévenants. Les équipements sont de qualité et le lieu convivial. La salle de jeux est un vrai plus pour les petits et les grands.

Séjour paisible et agréable

Nous avons passé un séjour paisible et agréable grâce aux prestations piscine, barbecue, salle de jeux, etc... De plus James est présent sur site pour répondre à nos besoins. Nous recommandons !

Au niveau internet et écran

Ont a trouvés quelques lacunes au niveau de la place de jeux, le billard et un peu ancien, et mal équilibré du coup. Puis le plus important c’est que les chaînes de tv sont en anglais donc à mentionner sur le site, car vu que l’on est en France ont pensent que l’ont a au moins 1 chaîne française
