Park of 6000 m2 raised .Local secure for bicycles and motorcycle. 1h beaches of Royan .possibilities of many hikes in Haute Saintonge. Free leisure center in Montendre 2 kms. Jonzac and his cure at 15 kms.
In winter the house is heated by 2 stoves. The owner will have everything on 6 hours before your arrival.
A wood supplement will be requested depending on the quantity.

Great tranquil Charente farmhouse

Ideal for us - we wanted a quiet stay for reading, relaxation and cooking, in simple surroundings. Annie gave is a great welcome and is helpful and discreet, easily contactable but not intrusive. Obviously for just two on this occasion we had great space - but suits a family too. Just be prepared to drive a bit if you want holiday visits etc. All we wanted was peace and quiet in the middle of nowhere. Local market and supermarket adequate for provisions. Good value. Very clean and well-organised, more cosy than luxurious. Quite well-stocked for kitchen equipment - unless you want to take your own knives if a serious cook! Everything worked. BBQ fine. Vine cuttings for kindling! The star was the garden with a heavenly tree and shade for reading and thinking! We had fun!

Décevant

Maison très bien située pour découvrir le Médoc. Un bac nous fait passer sur l’autre rive à Blaye pour découvrir tous les châteaux de vins prestigieux. Curiosité à voir dans le secteur comme Aubeterre ou Saint Seurin et son caviar d’Aquitaine. Par contre, très déçus par la maison. Au vu des commentaires, nous nous attendions à une maison pleine de charme. En fait, la propreté n’est pas au rendez-vous. Beaucoup de poussière, toiles d’araignées et mouches mortes au sol. Salon inconfortable et meublé sans aucun charme. Échelle de meunier pour accéder à l’étage un peu dangereuse. Une salle de douche antique avec un lave mains eau froide uniquement ! Beaucoup de lampes ne marchent pas et n’ont pas été remplacées comme la télé qui ne fonctionnait pas à cause de la carte de la box périmée . Ce qui montre qu’aucune vérification n’est faite avant l’arrivée des locataires. Bref, une maison superbe de l’extérieur mais sans aucun charme ou ambiance cocooning à l’interieur. Dommage !

Excellent sejour et 1 belle recontre : Annie !

3 semaines de vacances comme on les aiment ! Grande maison charentaise tout co fort et surtout un magnifique parc jardin arboré tres agreable pour supporter les fortes chaleurs de cet ete .. Annie est une hote sympathique, pétillante qui sait se faire discrète et reactive a nos demandes. Elle est de bons conseils pour les bonnes adresses de la region a decouvrir ... Le grand plus est de nous avoir permis de sejourner avec nos 2 chiens qui ont ete tres heureux !

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour chez Annie, une personne très sympathique et accueillante. La maison est magnifique. Très grande et plus que confortable. Tout y est et bien plus. On a apprécié la cheminée et les jeux de société au retour de nos belles balades dans les alentours. Nous recommandons cette adresse en famille ou entre amis.

Très bon accueil de Annie, gîte spacieux propre et très bien équipé incroyable, terrain très agréable avec des arbres fruitiers. Endroit très calme et relaxant. A 15mn de 2 villes avec les commerces nécessaires et à 1h de Bordeaux. Merci Annie !

Le hasard fait parfois bien les choses !

Gite parfait, on se sent vraiment comme à la maison ( on remercierait presque les personnes dont le laxisme a reculé notre aménagement dans la région d'une dizaine de jours ...) Annie est très accueillante et toujours de bon conseil concernant la région, les belles choses à découvrir et les bonnes adresses ! Un grand merci à elle !!!
