Absolutely loved this little cabin on a private pond! Enjoyed fishing on the pond and also utilized the grill for a nice dinner on our deck overlooking the water! Def would book this one again!
Poor service, excellent cabin, good luck if anything happens though
Good luck staying here. You are on your own if anything happens! May want to bring a chain saw! Stay was great until time to leave. As we are leaving driveway and climbing the hill to leave there was 3 large trees down blocking the roadway at 640 am. We called the sheriff's department first and they said that was a private roadway and we would have to wait until our cabins office opened to tell them. I tried the office phone number and someone actually answered! We were so glad we got someone on the phone and thinking something would be done soon.... WRONG. I just got the call at 1015am saying they would look into getting someone sent out to look at it but it isn't their responsibility. Now listen, she then proceeds to tell me they've been in business for many many years yet I was just told basically they have no protocol for this. I will make for sure I never book with this company again as clearly they do not have their act together. Luckily without their help might I add, a local woman that lived there down the road was able to show us a different way out that did not show up on Google maps. This cabin would have received a 5 star rating from me, yet they completely dropped the ball and if there was a lesser rating on service than a 1 star they would receive that. Good luck staying here if a freak something happens because they will not help you as it is "not their responsibility".
Description was a little off, more like a pond than a lake. Road in is a single vehicle lane. I we had to back up twice because we met another vehicle. Otherwise very nice and clean.
The cabin was beautiful, very clean and just the right size for the two of us. We really enjoyed our trip and the stay in the cabin. The windows with the view day or especially night was just breathtaking. Loved it very much. Thank you.

Could’ve been better…a lot better…
No way to get checked in earlier. The sofa bed sheet was full of candy wrappers and dust and smelled like it hadn’t been washed in quite some time. No extra pillow cases for the sofa bed. The extra blankets smelled so old and to put it plainly did not have a pleasant smell. Bathroom shower on it’s self was smaller than expected. The bed could’ve been better as well. The jacuzzi and hot tub was a nice touch but considering how unclean the rest of the cabin was I didn’t felt comfortable going in it. The best thing about this cabin was the location and being 15 mins away from the main strip in pigeon force, due reasons mentioned earlier I wouldn’t consider staying at this cabin again or recommend any friends/family members to stay with fireside chalets. This is all my opinion and my experience.

Nice cabin, management has work to do.
The property itself is very nice and comfortable. However, we were not allowed into the property until 6:00 pm, when the website stated 4:00pm was check in. The reason was because the cabin was not cleaned on time. The cabin was clean when we arrived back at 6:00pm. Also, the dryer was not working at all. Management apparently ordered the wrong part so we were left without a working dryer. I know that is a first world problem, but we only brought a certain amount of clothes because of what was stated on the website. The location was great and we did enjoy the cabin, but the management…
Was really amazed at how clean the house was. The views were great. The drive to the property was a bit tricky but we managed. We would definitely go back again!
The views from the cabin were beautiful. The drive way was steep, you either back in or back out. If drive a truck you cannot turn around.
When you sit down on the toilet you see blood splatter on the wall in the half bath. The wood piece on the stair stepping down into the kitchen was loose. when you step down to the floor in the living room felt soft like old water damage. The flooring looked new, but the subfloor was soft and clearing damaged.
Place was gorgeous, clean, and had anything you could possibly need. I truly don’t have anything negative about this place at all. I do got to say though, the road was about nothing but gravel the closer you got.
Great location, great cabin, amazing natural light, cozy back porch for early morning coffee, friendly squirrel, owners had a lot of extra conviences there.
My husband and I stayed at Reflections for our honeymoon and it was wonderful! The road going up to the cabin is a little sketchy but it's not too awful bad. The cabin was clean and we had pretty much everything we could ask for. I will say if you plan on grilling be sure to bring a grill lighter and a can opener wouldn't hurt because the one they supply has seen better days. Also if someone in your party is allergic to cinnamon, the cabin was decorated with it. Luckily we were able to air it out and my husband was okay but we didn't even think to inquire about that so that was on us. The "lake" is more like a glorified pond but the fishing is good so we didn't mind!! All in all, this is a 10/10 recommend!!! Hopefully we'll be back next year! ♥️♥️
My husband and I were very happy with our cabin. It was cozy and everything we expected. We will definitely stay with you guys again. The communication was quick and everyone I had talked to answered our questions respectfully, quick and politely. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!!
