Pretty disappointed
I rarely write negative reviews and try only to write about the places we love, but this one made meRethink. First let me say that the livingroom and kitchen are beautiful. The issues we had had us considering staying in a hotel to sleep over staying in the cabin. The bed Is rock hard. We felt like a spring was going to come through the mattress and stab us at any time. The sheets, sandpaper. We also considered buying some sheets to make the area a little more comfortable, but didn’t want to spend money on someone else’s property. The cabin was full of cobwebs in every room, and weFound old dust rags laying out. The most disappointing part was we noticed on our second day that the hot tub must not have been filtering and there were no chlorine tablets. It made the hot tub unit useable the rest of the time. It seems like not a lot is taken into consideration for guest comfort Other than the 2 common areas.I wish I would have read more VRBO reviews and not the reviews from the leasing company as theySeem to only list the positive reviews.

Disappointed
Very disappointed in the fact that the discription says lake front with lake view . Is there a lake down below yes, can it be seen from balcony or anywhere from property no. This was the only reason I chose this place. My husband and I are not physically agile as we used to be. We were looking forward to relaxing on porch and watching the lake.
Staff is Friendly and helpful. Cabin was very clean. The decor of cabin is very outdated and the grill was rusted out so we were not able to cook our steaks on it.
Beautiful, Accurate Description, but needs a couple updates
Arrived pretty late to the property on a Friday night after taking a couple wrong turns due to no service we finally made it to no outside lights, which is pretty common when first checking in, although when we went out and back in, the front porch light is a motion light that stayed on for maybe a minute max. No outside lights to the hot tub or back porch. I wish there were a little more light outside to be able to find better. We loved the secludedness of the cabin itself besides no lights. Once inside, the cabin itself was absolutely beautiful! Clean, functional, small but perfect for a couple stay, huge master bathroom and kitchen with a beautiful outside view in the daytime. We both enjoyed the full kitchen that had beautiful bay windows. It was a nice view while cooking dinner. They even had a decorated Christmas tree. The only thing that was upsetting about the inside of the cabin is the bed in the master bedroom, it was as hard as a rock. I think we both would’ve rather slept on the couch. I think with a couple of updates in the master bathroom with the bathtub, curtains throughout, and a tv or some entertainment in the bedroom; it would be a hard cabin to beat! We would of course be happy to stay again, especially if we would’ve been able to accommodate my 3 year old as well! Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
My husband and I stayed here for our one year anniversary! The cabin was nice & clean. Only downfall was bed was a little firm. We really enjoyed the hot tub & seen a baby black bear!
We had such a wonderful time and this cabin was excellent. Did have lots of acorns on front and back porch that did tend to cause slipping problem for us old folks. Do need some type of hand rails going down to kitchen. Rope lights and outside light by the hot tub did not work.
The only suggestion we could offer for improvement would be to have hangers in the closet to hang your coats on. Aside from that, the cabin was perfect.
Had an easy time communicating with the cabin rental company and the cabin was very clean and nice. I would recommend an all wheel drive vehicle to get to the cabin. The road is gravel, steep in some places, and narrow.
Located 7 miles from downtown Pigeon Forge next to the lake at Hidden Hills Resort, Hot Tub on private covered deck, multiple recliners, in-room Jacuzzi tub, Fully Furnished Kitchen, and has access to a private catch and release fishing pond with no license required.
