Set on the Silver Coast, (Costa de Prata), Foz do Arelho. Overlooking Obidos lagoon & the Atlantic Ocean, on an elevated ridge, with breath-taking, panoramic 220 deg views of Obidos Lagoon, Ocean and Village from a large private south-facing terrace.
On a small secluded condominium with swimming pools, free tennis court (rackets provided) and a children’s play area. Our penthouse apartment is located on a quiet Private Road with plenty of parking, providing easy access to our front door, that is only 6 ambulent steps above the parking and footpath.
It sleeps 6-8 in 3 Bedrooms, (a double, a twin bed and a large attic room with a double and twin beds) and 3 bathrooms. A fully equipped fitted kitchen including; dining table, chairs, washing machine and dishwasher. There is a large hall and sitting room that opens onto to a spacious sun bathing and dining terrace. A free broadband WiFi system with Portuguese TV. The internet can connect you to your own personal TV service provider like Sky Netflix or Amazon. Personal home channels can be watched via VPN. We also have books, games, a bluetooth music player, DVD Player, DVD's and PS2 with games.

The shared swimming pool (15m x 7m) is set in well-tended grounds and gardens adjacent to the children's pool and childrens play area. The synthetic grass tennis court is only 30m from the front door and is free for guests use only. (Rackets are provided)
Foz do Arelho village is only a half a kilometer away. It has many restaurants, bars, coffee shops, three well stocked mini markets as well as takeaways. Nearby beaches are located; at Obidos Lagoon that is salt water and tidal about a kilometer away. The majestic Atlantic surfing beach is less than three minutes in the car.
Activities nearby; golden sandy beaches, surfing, sailing centre, hobby cats, dinghies, wind & kite surfing, paddle boarding, fishing and four world class golf courses (Praia del Rey, West Cliffs, Royal Obidos and Bom Successo can be seen across the lagoon).
Obidos Lagoon is a birdwatchers paradise. There are a host of species. In particular during the late summer months we have flocks of Flamingos.
Culture & Entertainment. Nearby is Foz do Arelho village with a range of restaurants, great sea food, beach bars and shops. Obidos, is a stunning walled mediaeval town, rated the 6th most popular destination in Portugal (12 Km), famous for its whitewashed houses, cobbled streets and imposing 13th century castle. Caldas da Rainha is a spa town, with extensive shopping and a thriving fruit and flower market (8 Km). Sao Martinho do Porto, a resort on a horse shoe bay (14 Km), Buddha Eden is Europe largest Oriental garden (24 Km), Local Wine Trails. Peniche (34 minutes by car) is a large fishing town with amazing beaches that regularly host the World Surfing Championship. Nazare (31 minutes by car), a world renowned sea side town, famous for having the largest surfable waves on earth. The Berlingas Islands, a wonderful boat day-trip from Peniche. Fatima, Sintra, Coimbra and of course Lisbon.
