The Magnificent Apartment

The Magnifico Apartment is perfect for those traveling with family or friends and want all the comfort and privacy of an independent accommodation; it can accommodate up to 4 people.
It was completely renovated in 2019, complete with all the latest appliances! 60sqm.
The Apartment is equipped with a comfortable living area with sofa bed, TV, dining table, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and iron, various balconies and a second bathroom complete with shower will satisfy the needs of all guests.
The apartment has one bedroom: double room (or twin room) with en-suite bathroom.
The living room, if necessary, becomes the second bedroom thanks to the queen size sofa bed.
The structure is fully air conditioned.

The area:
 The Apartment is located in the historic center, in a 19th century building on the first floor and the area is well supplied by public transport and all the services (bar, restaurants, market etc). Airport, train and bus station are very close. All the major attractions of the city are within easy reach, even on foot!
Free parking under the house or in the nearby streets.
With a short drive / bus or taking a nice walk you can easily reach the beach and the cliff.

Bedroom bath: large 150cm shower, toilet, bidet, washbasin with mirror and electrical socket, hairdryer, heating, complete set of towels for each guest.

Excellent location and very helpful host

We arrived early and Loris was helpful in allowing us to leave our luggage early so we could go an explore the city. Once we even got lost on foot and called him for directions back to our BnB.

Great location

Il magnifico is a well kept apartment in a great location close to the central station and the main sites of Catania. I highly recommend it. An extra bonus is the Gelateria Pellegrino which also serves pastries, tavola calda, and drinks, just one block away.

Lovely Apartment

The apartment was excellent. Very clean, had everything one could need. The host, Loris, was very responsive and it was easy to communicate with him. If we needed anything he immediately made sure we received it. Parking is available on the street, but it is not always easy to find, Unfortunately. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend the apartment.

Authentic Catania!

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The host was very helpful and met us to check in and was very personable. We would have liked a head’s up that the view outside of the terrace was different due to construction, as we were disappointed with it. Even though the area itself was a little gritty, the apartment felt safe and was clean. It would also be nice to have more than two towels for a three night stay. Other than that, the apartment was a great home base while we explored Sicily.

Name says it all “The Magnificent Apartment”

If there is a case where saying “don’t judge the book by its cover” then this place in Catania is perfect example. The area does appear a little rundown but the apartment inside was all new and shining. The location is very convenient as you can reach city center, most of the attractions and Central Railway station in 10 to 15 minutes’ walk. Very clean and convenient layout, nice size bedroom with king size bed and full bathroom. The second bathroom is located off the kitchen are and both have new fixtures which all work just fine. Nice size living/dining room and small but well-equipped kitchen to be sufficient for all but very elaborate dinner preparations. Really appreciated the fact that some basic supplies, such sugar, coffee, salt, water, etc. were provided as it was nice not to rush out to look for food after long travel from US. Checking in and out was well documented and we had no problem with that, and host provided us with a lot of information and suggestions on local area and was quick and responsive to our questions It was a perfect base for exploring Catania and region and definitely we will recommend it

Loris ist sehr zuvorkommend, die Wohnung richtig schön, fast wie Zuhause. Ätna, Syrakus etc. sind gut zu erreichen. Lediglich die Parkplatzsuche nit dem Mietwagen war etwas anstrengend.

Grosszügige Wohnung in Bahnhofsnähe von Catania

Wir genossen die Tage in der lebhaften Stadt Catania mit Stadtspaziergängen, Besichtigungen von Kirchen und Museumsbesuchen. Danach reisten wir per Bus weiter zur Talstation des Etna. Der kontaktlose Check-in klappte tadellos und der Gastgeber hielt Kontakt per what‘s up. Wir können diese Wohnung weiterempfehlen.

Geniale Unterkunft

Der Buchungsvorgang, die Kommunikation, das Einchecken wie auch das Auschecken hat alles reibungslos funktioniert. Auf unseren Wunsch wurde die Gästezahl nachträglich nochmal erhöht, auch das kein Problem. Die eingestellten Fotos entsprechen den tatsächlichen Gegebenheiten. Die Wohnung wurde offensichtlich vor kurzem erst sehr schön renoviert und bietet viel Platz, auch für vier Personen. Die Lage ist perfekt und der Vermieter sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Können wir unbedingt weiterempfehlen.

Wonderful apartment in centro storico

This is a beautiful apartment located in the historical center of Catania with plenty of great alternatives for sight seeing and delicious food. It's very easy to reach from the airport, there is a direct bus and the stop is a 2 min walk to the apartment. The apartment is roomy and comfortable, and it is impecable!!! The hosts are super friendly and made sure that we had everything we needed, they were always available when we had questions.
