Casa Irena is a spacious and welcoming four-bedroom villa with private pool, perfectly positioned just a 5-minute walk from the heart of Carvoeiro. Situated at the top of Rua do Farol, this single-storey villa enjoys an excellent location within easy walking distance of beaches, restaurants, shops, and bars, making it an ideal choice for a relaxing Algarve holiday without the need for a car.



Surrounded by mature gardens, the villa offers privacy, generous outdoor space, and a wonderful setting for families or groups. The private heated swimming pool is complemented by a large sun terrace with loungers for lazy days in the sunshine, while the outdoor dining area and BBQ create the perfect space for al fresco meals with family and friends. Stairs lead to a rooftop terrace where guests can enjoy superb sea views and beautiful Algarve sunsets.



The property is accessed through private gates and benefits from a spacious driveway with parking for several vehicles. Inside, the villa is bright, comfortable, and designed for easy holiday living. The fully equipped kitchen opens into a large lounge with TV and patio doors leading directly to the pool terrace, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor flow.



The swimming pool has a shallow end of 0.8 metres and a deep end of 2 metres, making it suitable for both relaxing and family fun. Pool heating is available at an additional cost if required, allowing the villa to be enjoyed comfortably throughout the year.



There are four spacious bedrooms in total, including two doubles and two twin rooms, along with three bathrooms, providing ample accommodation for families or groups travelling together.

Lovely large villa. Well equipped kitchen, outdoor barbecue and plenty space for our large family. Two large seating areas outside for dining. Pool is such a plus in the heat. Short walk ( 3 mins) to nearest shop and some good restaurants. Further 10 mins down hill is a busy area with more shops and restaurants.

Really comfortable stay

We chose the villa for it’s location and were not disappointed. It’s a short walk to the nearest restaurant or shop and plenty of choice. We had a couple of problems quickly sorted. Would recommend.

Casa Irena - August 2025

We had a lovely stay at Casa Irena. The location was excellent - at the top of restaurant hill, so very convenient for exploring Carveoiro on foot. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable with modern bathrooms that were clean and fresh. The kitchen supplies were impressive - very well stocked with all the essentials, it even had an airy fryer which was a bonus! Outside, we enjoyed the good sized pool, BBQ and outdoor fridge. If we had to mention areas for improvement, the sun loungers could definitely do with replacing - they looked old and grubby and were very uncomfortable, with a bar that presses into your back when lying down. The small outdoor side tables have also seen better days and should be refreshed for a cleaner look. The main issue we had was the ants. We’re used to the occasional ant or two when staying at villas, but this seemed like on another level - there were large numbers of them in the bathrooms, all bedrooms, kitchen and all outdoor areas. We had to use ant spray daily to try and keep them under control. It felt like an infestation, which was a real downside. Due to this issue, we can only rate accommodation and cleanliness as average.
