Top Floor 2BD w/ Large Loft in the Heart of the Northstar Village!

This luxury condominium with a spacious layout is conveniently located in the popular Catamount Lodge, right in the heart of the Village at Northstar. Catamount 406 is truly unique; it is the only residence of its kind, featuring two stories, in the Village at Northstar. The remodeled interior has a spiral staircase leading to a loft, making this residence much larger than other two bedrooms in the Village. The main living level has a grand master suite large enough to also fit a sofa and a private door to the balcony, a guest bedroom with a king bed and bathroom, and half bath by the kitchen. Located upstairs is an open loft area with a den, as well as a full. The gourmet kitchen has stainless steel appliances, gas range, granite counter tops, and stone floors. The open floor plan with massive vaulted ceilings gives the feel of a larger ski home and provides lots of space for gathering with family and friends. There is a dining table for 6 and breakfast bar seating for 4. Step outside to the balcony overlooking the Village pedestrian area below. The updated interior and unique layout of this spacious two-story residence is the perfect getaway for a large family or a group of couples!

Shared outdoor hot tubs and fitness center are located on the ground level of the Catamount Lodge. Guests may also enjoy use of the Village Swim and Fitness Center, which includes a year-round saline pool, hot tub, large fitness facility, locker rooms with steam showers, and a game and lounge area. This residence includes one underground parking space in the heated parking garage with elevator access. Whether you choose to hike, mountain bike, golf, ski, or skate, you will find everything you need only steps away from your front door.

The Gondola lift was only steps away from the Condo building. The first floor Fitness center with outside hot tub was a nice benefit. The lack of good restaurants in the village is disappointing. Diminished quality food and bar choices from previous years.

North Star condo

Great location in village for Ski/Board. The property was convenient and very comfortable with bathrooms and ski locker. Our only concern is that the loft gets very stuffy for sleeping.

Good location, great for families

Excellent location in the village. 2 good BRs with a full loft. Loft would be great for the kids to have their own space w a bed, couch and its own TV. Everything went smoothly.

Perfect for 4 adults and 3 small kids

We have stayed at the village before but chose this unit for the unique loft. It worked out great as the kids had their own area and we could still see/hear what they were doing at all times. It rained so we stayed in more than expected and SO happy we had this set up. The second bedroom was a bit smaller than expected but everything else was perfect.

A perfect family vacation spot!

The entire family loved the stay. The place was clean and high quality finishes. It was very spacious for a family of 7. We loved the loft. Staying in the heart of the Northstar village was so much fun. A great vibe and fun around the village. We spent time at the spa and pool. We ate multiple times at the local restaurants. Also, Northstar is close to the lake, so the location is very convenient to everything we wanted to do. It was perfect and above expectations!

Loved this condo

We loved staying in the condo. This is our 4th year coming and we always stay in a different unit. This one had plenty of storage in different areas for all of our ski stuff. It also had a cyclone drying unit which was a first. No more drying your things in front of the fire. And the kids really enjoyed hanging out in the loft.

Great Northstar Lodging!

We have stayed at Northstar many times ... and this is our favorite condo ever. My family now insists that it's the only place we stay :) It's located very conveniently within the village ... close to the restaurants and shops and lifts and etc ... but not right overlooking the ice rink so it's very quiet and peaceful. Great layout with two bedrooms and also a huge loft bedroom. Very, very well supplied kitchen. Quite clean and well stocked with toiletries. We also loved having the two hot tubs right at the bottom of the building. The property management team was super helpful and very responsive. Great experience all around!

Birthday, anniversary getaway

Condo was lovely. Every you would ever need and more. Problem with ac so loft and living are got quite warm. Maintenance came, but unable to fix problem. Pool situation is a bit of a pain, but that’s covid. Other then that, a nice quick weekend.

Lovely Place with plenty of space

Had everything we needed and so much space! Would definitely search this property out again. Perfect for 2 families with children (children can sleep in the loft) and maybe a 3rd family who would need to use the 2 living room pull outs though I’d have them at a reduced portion since they won’t get a private room. Master was very large but the 2nd bedroom looked a tad tight with the king bed in there but there was so much space to put your luggage that you didn’t need to put it in the room. We stayed for a baseball tournament in late summer without AC because it was in need of a repair that couldn’t be done in time but they offered me a credit for that…haven’t seen it yet so I will have to update the review if they don’t follow through with that. It was a very bright space so with the blinds open it did get warm in the bedrooms but not too bad. Kids in the loft did not complain of being hot so that was good. Would recommend!

You are not gonna beat the location. Perfect for a week with kids. Gondola is steps away. Like, actually. Convenience badge earned. Place was nice and cozy, perfect for 2 families to share. Loft upstairs for the kids worked out well. Kitchen was great.

Would definitely stay here again!

This is the second time we’ve stayed in this unit and absolutely love it. Our kids enjoy hanging-out up in the loft. There is a ton of storage everywhere, including a separate area to put snow stuff (A special dryer for boots mittens ect) Very short walk getting off the mountain. We would definitely stay here again.

On Top of the World in Tahoe

I am beyond impressed with not only this beautiful, well-equipped and spacious property, but with the attentiveness of Tahoe Exclusive Vacation Rentals. Brooke was absolutely fantastic!!! She was friendly and efficient as were the people at the check-in office on-site. The amenities, location and overall vibe of Northstar can’t be beat. Such a great stay all around!
