This beautiful and expansive condo is located in the Great Bear Lodge building, right in the heart of The Village at Northstar. Located on the 4th floor, the residence overlooks the skating rink and is a short walk to the gondolas. Experience the ultimate Northstar vacation with complete privacy that begins with direct elevator access into the condo. The open floor plan features a comfortable great room with gas fireplace. There are televisions and DVD players in every room. The home is perfect for entertaining with a dining area which opens right onto the large private patio. You will be in the center of all the action with spectacular views of the slopes and skating rink below. The master bedroom is a beautifully decorated king suite. This family-friendly residence features a queen bed in the second bedroom and a queen bed and a twin-over-twin bunk in the third bedroom, each with en-suite bathrooms, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. This exclusive residence is the ultimate in Village at Northstar luxury!

Shared outdoor hot tubs and fitness center are located on the ground level of the Iron Horse South Lodge. Guests may also enjoy use of the Village Swim and Fitness Center, which includes a year-round saline pool, hot tub, large fitness facility, locker rooms with steam showers, and a game and lounge area. This residence includes one underground parking space in the heated parking garage with elevator access. Whether you choose to hike, mountain bike, golf, ski, or skate, you will find everything you need only steps away from your front door.

Relaxing vacation

Our stay was wonderful. This is a great location with shopping and restaurants below if you just want to relax on property. The beaches nearby wee beautiful with plenty activities to choose. We would stay here again!

A Summer Break at Northstar

We have stayed at Great Bear several times during the Summer over the years and GB 404 did not disappoint. It is a great base for visits to North Tahoe beaches and restaurants. Our family enjoyed it throughly.

Perfect for our family

We had 3 couples and a baby and the space was perfect for us all. The Village was quiet but perfect for walking around and our toddler free to roam. Our condo had great family space and each couple enjoyed privacy as well. Very family friendly.

Amazing spot!!

This place was better than expected! It is spacious (bigger than pics) and has a great floor plan. The beds were super comfortable and kitchen was perfect! My teens loved exploring the property and also the fact that elevator opens to the room. It was a little dead but we didn’t mind the chill factor. Great live music that filled the place during happy hour. Perfect 5 day getaway. Don’t hesitate on booking this place- you will not regret it!

A Family Get Together

The unit was perfect for our family get together! The four bedrooms and 4 bathroom provided privacy while the spacious common areas invited everyone to gather. The location of the unit in North Star provided us with a base of operations to enjoy rafting, hiking, shopping and dining in Truckee and along the shore of Lake Tahoe, along with a visit to Donner Pass. We will be returning in future years!

Perfect Location!

The entire process -starting with Lauren in reservations was easy. The home is absolutely one of the best homes we’ve rented through VRBO. Easy check in, spotless, location is a 10, ski in ski out, equipment locker downstairs so you don’t have to drag all your equipment upstairs, room for everyone and the home is fully stocked. Large balcony over looking skating rink and the elevator that opens directly into your home is convenient. Even in the summer months this would be the perfect spot to vacation.

Star of Northstar

Beautiful property with a big lovely deck overlooking the village rink and all the activities that go on down there as well as the surrounding trees. Close to shops and restaurants just steps away...Well appointed but would have appreciated a few items in the kitchen like sugar so we didn't have to get dressed and go downstairs to Starbucks for morning coffee. The master bath floor was not clean and one of the blankets on the bed was dirty as well. (May need a better cleaning service). We would stay there again as it is very nice and we very much enjoyed the property and location !

A gem in the middle of Northstar Village

We had 2 families staying at this lovely condo. It is spacious and the location is perfect (right above Starbucks and rink). I highly recommend it.
