We liked it is close to downtown so uber prices were pretty affordable. The dining option were really close. The "Quickie Pickie" is not just a convenience store, awesome burgers and tacos. Everything we needed was in walking distance. The apartment is very clean and well organized. They have a lot of extra towels and more than enough dishes and silverware. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location, helpful hosts

We had a parent's weekend away and this pad was perfect for the two of us, and the location was very walkable to plenty of restaurants and bars! Our hosts were very responsive and allowed us to stay past our checkout time when our flight wasn't until later in the day (no other guests were scheduled that day). Would definitely stay again!

We had a great time in Austin, and thought the location of this property was perfect. It’s in a great neighborhood, and there are a lot of cool restaurants/cafes and bars nearby. Julie and Francois were also gracious hosts and very helpful and accommodating!

Great base of operations for people who want neighborhood flavor and easy walking or biking around town. The apartment had everything we needed and the hosts were friendly and helpful. We would have been happy to stay longer,!

Walking distance to many attractions including downtown. Good kitchenette. Plenty of towels and comfortable bed. Lots of hot water for great showers. Good value.

Great location in Austin, TX, kind of hard to locate in the dark with this being a basement home. Apartment was stocked with all needed amenities, and perfect for what we needed! Apartment is walking distance from Franklins BBQ. Awesome BBQ, for sure worth the wait!

Nice little place!

We had a pleasant stay in this nice little basement apartment. It was clean and comfortable with a separate sitting area to watch TV. It was really nice to have extra blankets, an electric teapot and coffee. Thank you for thinking of all those things!!!

Cute studio in great location!

This is the second time we have stayed here. We like to come to Austin every so often for different music events. This studio is in a great location for us and very convenient. We are able to walk to most places we want to go. Julie and Francois are always very friendly and happy to help if we need anything. Will definitely be staying here again!

Convenient and Lovely

My husband and I were traveling through with our toddler and rented the apartment for 3 days. It was exactly as listed and conveniently located for us as well. We enjoyed being able to have a private place to end our days for a fair price. We would definitely recommend the apartment and the owners and would stay here again if in the area.

I'm passionate about music and, and we host house concerts in our home 5-6 times a year. We love food and all that the Austin lifestyle has to offer. We're completely available to answer questions or offer assistance.

We live here. This is our home. We arrived with train depot in tow in 2003, took up residence in 2004 and finished out the basement in 2017.
