Charming first floor villa! Steps to the beach! Stay at the Crabby Shack!

Charming 1 bedroom/1 bathroom first floor villa located in building A in the Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Resort! Steps to the beach!!

The space is 540 square feet that sleeps 6 (4 adults + 2 children).

Note - Daily housekeeping service is not provided. You will be provided with starter supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, body wash, shampoo, etc. Ground coffee and filters are provided. K-cups are not provided.

Kitchen: Stainless steel appliances, fully equipped with pots, pans and baking ware, sandwich press, mixer, and plenty of dinnerware for a group of 6. (Does not have a dishwasher).

Living room: Queen size sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress. Swivel chair and 2 bean bag chairs for extra seating. Large wall mounted SMART TV. High speed wifi included!

Eating area: 2 bar stools under the TV, 2 bar stools in the kitchen island.

Coffee/wine bar area: Single serve Keurig coffee maker and a Mr. Coffee maker if you need a full pot. Wine glasses, wine and bottle opener.

Bedroom: Queen size bed with SMART tv, side tables, 5 drawer dresser, closet with hangers and extra bedding, laundry hamper, fan, and mirror.

Other Sleeping area:
- 2 captains bunks - sleeps 2 children
- Luxurious queen size air mattress - sleeps 2, (located under the bunk beds)

Beach Needs:
- 6 beach towels (Provided April through October)
- 6-8 beach chairs
- Sand toys
- Cooler with wheels

Parking: 1 parking pass is included with each booking. If you require more than 1 parking pass, please let us know. There is a $35 charge for each additional parking pass.

Pets: Hilton Head Beach and Tennis has a strict no pet policy. Any pets brought into the resort will result in a $250 per day fine from the resort that you will be responsible for.

Please let us know if you or any of your guests require any special accommodations.

We had such a great time at the condo…so much that this was our second stay! Perfect accommodations for two adults and two children under 10- the bunk beds are a hit!! We’ll see you next time

Great experience

We recently spent a few night here for a last vacation of the summer. Everything was as described and the check in process was super simple. We arrived early were able to get in so we had an extra beach day. There were plenty of chairs and other things for the beach that made it even better. Location to the beach was super close. Highly recommend this place.

great place right by the beach!

it was a small condo but perfect for 2-4 people! had everything we needed including beach chairs, umbrella, toys etc. Only issue is there was not a coffee table which was inconvenient, but there was an ottoman! We had a wonderful time for a great price! also master bed was the comfiest bed i’ve slept in at a rental!

So easy to get to the beach

Everything was in the kitchen that we needed. We spent the majority of our time outdoors, but used the gym facility, restaurant, and pool. Everything is so easy at the beach. It was a great place to stay! Thank you.

Small space with charm

This condo is small but cozy. The kitchen is not a space for lots of cooking. So, plan on lots of take out. It was a nice place to recover from the hetic holiday season. Enjoy the ease in which you can enjoy this space.

Perfection!

We’ve stayed at The Beach and Tennis resort for 6 years and this was by far the best unit! It had tons of little extras that made the trip easier. They provided beach towels, chairs and an umbrella that seemed to be new and very easy to carry to the beach. Also very good use of space at the condo. The bathroom had an extra cabinet for storage which was so helpful. Very clean and will definitely book again.

We booked this place for about a week and it was AMAZING! The Crabby Shack had everything we needed from dishes and silverware to beach chairs on the balcony. We had plenty of space and the beach was only a few steps away across a private boardwalk. We loved the location because we were about in the middle of the island so we were never too far from anything we wanted to do. We loved having the pool and the poolside bar only a few steps away as well. The Crabby Shack was super clean when we arrived and the owner was very responsive as well! We had a wonderful time and will definitely be re booking again next year!

Small, but perfect location.

There were 4 of us. The kids loved the bunks, we had some trouble with the dvd players (I think remotes would be helpful). Beach chairs and toys were very worn so I was thankful we had our own toys and ended up purchasing chairs. Literally so close to the beach and pool it was amazing. We even got to see a couple gators 🐊 at the resort! Overall our stay was great and would totally recommend and stay there again. It was our first time at HH! Parking was great, place was very clean, and owner communication was A+!!

Adorable little condo on the ocean!

This adorable little condo is perfect for couples looking to spend time together near the ocean! The location was fabulous, right next to the boardwalk to get to the beautiful beach. The beach chairs and the cooler were SO great to have and made it easy to relax and create a very comfortable set up on the beach. The unit was newly remodeled right before our stay, which was a very pleasant surprise! The fresh paint looked great and brightened up the unit. The bars on site were awesome and convenient to have so close. We enjoyed renting bikes too. We can't wait to come back! Thank you for an amazing anniversary trip!

Love the Decor

Things I loved about A130. It was very clean. First floor. Closer to the beachfront side (so the steps & boardwalk). Bed was comfy. TV, a tower fan & extra blankets in bedroom. Full sized fridge! Tub/shower combo (my daughter likes to take baths vs. showers). They have a water filter, both a regular coffee pot & a keurig, provide beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, toys, cooler, etc. Things some people may not like: No dishwasher (but I don't mind handwashing), stove is a mini, but worked fine for the things I cooked. No kitchen table (they have bar stools) but again it worked for me & my kids. We would definitely stay here again. The only thing I would suggest is get a set of nested mixing bowls. There was 1 big bowl to mix stuff up in but it had a crack in it. We made it work though! Thank you Crabby Shack!!!

Good stay overall

My family has visited HHI every year for the past 8 years. We have stayed at the HHB&T resort multiple times and have always enjoyed our stay but did have a few frustrations this time. The condo was very clean and had close access to the beach which was awesome with a two year old in tow. It was also well stocked with basics. Property owner communicated quickly upon booking and let us know as soon as we could check in. A few of the things that would have made the stay better would have been less furniture/decor. Trying to get in or out the door with a toddler and luggage or groceries was nearly impossible because of table right at the entrance. There was also a cabinet with towels sitting right in the middle of the bathroom. We had to move this to the living room during our stay in order to access the bedroom without waking up our sleeping kid by accessing the bedroom through the bunk area. Another disappointment was colored linens and towels. I feel like white linens should be standard for hospitality since they can be properly cleaned, especially towels. The biggest complaint we had however was the thermostat. It was set to change temperatures after certain times. My husband had to get up two different mornings at 3am and 4am to change the temperature because the condo got way too hot. I understand using a smart thermostat so the temperature can be controlled while no one is in the condo, but when guests are present, the temperature should not change off of their set settings while they are there. We were still overall happy with our stay.

Hi Megan, Appreciate the review and feedback. A few things, the thermostat is not on a schedule and should not change while guests are there. In fact, even when it goes to "away" we have it set up so the temp doesn't change. I checked on it and it needed to be rest, all good now. The cabinet in the bathroom is located in an alcove and used to store extra towels. This is the first time we have received feedback on its location and will take another look at its placement. The linens and towels are properly washed and sanitized after each stay, even though they are not white.

We had a great time on our vacation. The resort and amenities were great. The “Crabby Shack” was cozy and just as described. We will definitely be visiting and staying at this club in the future
