Eastern Shore two bedroom cottage with dock on a quiet creek of the Chesapeake Bay in Wittman, Maryland. Surrounded by mature majestic shade trees. Beautiful water views on 3 sides and facing west with spectacular sunsets from the comfort of your screened front porch. Quiet street, ideal for relaxation and getting away from it all.

Interior remodeled/upgraded a few years ago. Bright living area incorporates: living room with two sofas and a recliner, TV with basic cable, VCR player and video collection; dining area which opens onto side deck; and a modern kitchen with silestone counter-tops, single oven, fully stocked with dishes and utensils, including toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle. Two modest sized bedrooms. Master with queen bed and sliding double doors opening directly onto front porch. Ensuite bathroom with shower and jetted soaking tub. Second bedroom with queen bed and connected bathroom with shower. Laundry room with washer and dryer. Grill (gas)on deck for use by guests, Private pool open Memorial Day thru Labor Day. Includes a portable Fire pit near private dock that has a bench to watch the wild life and sunsets.

Wireless internet access.

Enjoy crabbing and kayaking (two kayaks with vests provided) from the large dock (bring your boat - draw about 4 feet) or just relax and read or watch the water from the newly screened porch furniture. Self-contained for everything you need for a relaxing time away from home, work and the madding crowd!

Enjoy riding our 2 bikes or take a ride just 7 miles into St Michaels along 322 where you can enjoy coffee at the "Blue Heron Coffee Shop" on Talbot St. as good as you can find anywhere or dine at any one of many fine restaurants after you amble through the shops and explore the harbor. Easy access to St Michaels, Easton, Oxford.

Magee Cottage in Wittman Md, the eastern shore, is an excellent rental cottage with all the amenities a discerning renter could have including panoramic water views, a dock and a swimming pool. The kitchen is large, modern and well stocked with what you need, a wrap around deck with large barbecue grill, and picnic table for crab feasts. Why spend precious time with crowded highways and heavy traffic to Ocean City when you can kick back and relax in Wittman just minutes from St. Michael’s with great shopping and super restaurants.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The Maghee House was bright, well appointed, up-to-date and very comfortable. We rented the home because it was on the water and had a nice dock to launch our kayaks. The area on Harris Creek was beautiful for kayaking. It would have been nice to have some empty cabinet space in the kitchen for our food items and some shelving in the primary bath for toiletries.We would definitely stay at the Maghee House again!

It is a very well maintained property. The pier was clear of bird droppings, which has not always been the case with other vrbo's we have rented. Only one problem was the pool was not opened. It was advertised as being available Memorial Day. I hesitate to say this one negative thing since everything else was excellent.

The cottage was clean and comfortable and the location was gorgeous! However, the advertised in-ground pool was not suitable for use - loaded with leaves and green cloudy water. We arrived Thursday afternoon. A pool cleaning service arrived Friday morning which appeared to be the first time for the season. They did not get the leaves out or the water clean. Also, the BBQ grill was very dirty and had a broken frame. I was glad I brought aluminum foil with me or I would not have been able to cook on it. Lastly, the front window shade in the living room was broken. The pull cord didn't work.Having said that, we enjoyed our time there. The location of the cottage was ideal, on the water and only 15 minutes from the town of St. Michaels which we loved for the shops and the restaurants.

This was the perfect little getaway spot. House was clean and welcoming. Jet tub and shower were wonderful. My sons enjoyed the kayaks and my husband and I had our morning coffee on the dock. It was a short drive to Tilghman Island and St Michael's. Communication with the host was great. We'll definitely be back!

Watch the beautiful sun rise and sunsets from the front porch or sit on the bench at the end of the dock and watch the world go by. Take a walk around the neighborhood or a dip in the pool. Come for a visit and unwind !

Our Cottage is located in a quiet town on a small creek. You can relax here and let nature take you away to a more serene place. We have a private dock if you like to fish, a pool to relax or the A/C to sit and look out the picture windows at the beautiful sunsets.
