Cool house in a quiet neighborhood. Very neat and clean. Enjoyed the fenced garden with lots of tropical plants so the dogs could be off leash. It had everything you would need and was a short drive or walk to everywhere you would want to go. Look forward to coming back here in the future.

Owner is very accommodating and gracious. Home is convenient to everything will be back!
Our week's stay couldn't have been any better. Delightful property, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood which is proximate to main thoroughfare. Access to beaches, restaurants and other activities was easy. Brent is a wonderful host and Cherokee Cottage was perfectly comfortable and immaculately clean. Our dog loved having his own fenced yard to roam at the end of a day of sightseeing or beach exploration. Thank you, Brent.
The house was as advertised and we enjoyed our stay very much - wish we would have had more time. When there was an issue (no hairdryer), a quick text to Brent brought an immediate response (and a hair dryer 😄).
This house is very cute! It is a character house in the shaded back yard of another house. The owner was very nice and helpful. We brought alone our furbaby. The bed was comfortable and clean as was the bathroom and rest of the tiny house. We will be back!
My daughter and I stayed here for few days to get a quick beach trip in. Everything was as described and Brent was very helpful when checking in. Having a fenced in yard was great for our new to the family rescue dog who loved searching all the nooks and crannies in the garden. Plenty of towels and TV’s available in the home as well as good AC when it got humid. We enjoyed sitting and listening to the wind chimes in the evening. Close to red fern village and less than 5 minutes to the main beach.

Brief Getaway
Lovely island. Private location. Quiet neighborhood. House is in the rear of owner's property. Shared common area. Cozy unit in need of some TLC. Lighting fixtures and kitchen appliances need maintenance. Does not have a full kitchen - only a microwave and toaster oven. Food prep area very small. Internet spotty at best. My interaction with the host did not leave me wanting more. Great for our two night stay, but we would not have wanted to stay any longer.

Great, comfortable, convenient home away from home
Spent a night at the Cherokee Tiny Home and felt like we were away for a week. It was adorable, private, comfortable and relaxing. Brent, the owner was a pleasure to coordinate with. Checking in was a breeze and we arrived to find the home comfortably cool with some welcoming lights on. The fish tank in the living space is so pretty and relaxing. Comfortable chairs to curl up with a book. The bathroom is very spacious and the kitchen nook was stocked with some diet cokes and coffee. The bedroom was very comfortable - we enjoyed the ceiling fan. TV was easy to control. The shared backyard is great and if we had stayed longer we would have definitely made some use of it. The best part was how convenient this home was. We brought bikes and were able to bike to several restaurants. We biked down to Neptune Park for a great game of putt putt and listened to music by the water. The neighborhood was quite and quaint. I would definitely recommend staying here and will book again when we come back to St. Simons Island. Thanks for a great stay, Brent!!
First let me say that this rental was spotlessly clean, in a great neighborhood that is easily accessible to everything on the island (short car ride), and the backyard is awesome and fenced in for dogs. We were not expecting a large kitchen, but the word “kitchenette” implied (in my mind) the ability to cook our own food. There was no stove (though there were a microwave, air fryer and Keurig) and the fridge was an under-the-counter with no freezer, or at least so iced over that we could not access the freezer). We found out the next day the owner kept ice in an outside freezer we could access. There aren’t what I would call “two bedrooms,” but rather one bedroom (with a comfy bed) and another room with the “kitchenette,” small high table with chairs, and a daybed with a trundle. There is also a recliner that can be moved easily between the two rooms. We never were able to work the TV (which is in the bedroom) as there were no instructions, but we didn’t bother the owner with it because we don’t watch TV much anyway. And there was no fish tank (as in the description) because the owner had removed it. According to previous guests, the fish tank was a big draw. All that being said, we were comfortable and had a good time. My little dog enjoyed the enclosed yard and the owner’s two dogs were lovely. My friend and I enjoyed sitting outside in the tropical garden. Our biggest disappointment was in not being able to cook the food we brought with us, but we enjoyed the nearby restaurants.
Great place to stay in St Simons! Brent, the owner, ensured we had every thing we needed. Place was very clean and convenient to local restaurants, shops and beach. We will certainly be back!
The property is secluded behind the owners house. It is very quiet and relaxing. The owner has a lot of plants in the area. The bungalo was as described. Kitchenette not a full kitchen. But had everything we needed. The owners dogs were friendly. Brent would check on us if he seen us coming in. I would stay again if going to St Simon.

Not as expected
Never get a second chance to make first impression. Rockets on patio nice but cushions filthy and mismatched with filthy Weber grill. Front door in obvious disrepair
Stated 2 bedroom. But one bedroom and ‘sitting’ room which was trundle day bed, high top table w 2 chairs. Kitchenette with microwave , tiny refrigerator, toaster oven, and keurig . Blinds not able to be opened.
Bedroom had HUGE gunsafe in room and smaller one in only closet. Closet with shelves w bedding thrown in haphazardly, no place to hang clothes any larger than infant. Noisy portable fan. One bedside lamp for king bed. Large TV with damaged recliner in bedroom Pegboards with hooks, nails etc and hooks in ceiling. Assorted ceiling light fixtures
Bathroom ok. Towels very nice But shower curtain was questionable. Didn’t want to touch it. Also hooded sweatshirt hanging on back of bathroom door
No ice maker, host said freezer outside for ice etc.
Redeeming qualities were Brent very nice with two nice friendly dogs. Yard eclectic but dog waste smell.
Despite filthy cushions on rickets we did take coffee in patio
Description stated for 6 people, don’t know how that would work. Only place to sit was daybed and no TV.
Very awkward. Needs paint and updating in bedroom with new bedding (sheets threadbare) and coverlets/quilts for bed and trundle questionable when last cleaned
Needless to say we were very disappointed. Had looked forward to some quiet time in quaint Cherokee cottage. Left 2 days early
Brent and his pups were very friendly and welcoming. The Cherokee Tiny House feels tucked away even though it’s centrally located to a main road, restaurants and the bike path. If you’re looking for a modest and comfortable accommodation, this is it. I love bringing my pet companion on trips, and this was the perfect set-up for my older doggo, too. Brent’s back garden is lovely as well. Pro tip: get to know the very easy Broadway shortcut. It will save you time and hassle getting to East Beach, the pier, etc.

This is a very quaint and quiet place. It was very clean and easy access to the main road. Brent is a wonderful host. Allowing pets made our stay even more enjoyable. The yard is so nice to relax in. Next time we will use that wonderful grill. Thank you, Brent!!!
Great little secret garden location with an amazing host, Brent! The location was clean and well kept. Lots of veggies and fruits on the property that Brent was more than happy to offer us to sample! Will definitely return!
We had a great time! The house was lovely and very well kept up. Brent (property owner) was very friendly and knowledgeable of things to do on the island. We would definitely stay there again.
My daughter and I had a great time here and on the Island. It is like an oasis, and the stay was incredible. We recommend the Cherokee Tiny House. Also, I learned a thing or two more about grilling. Brent is a great host.
When you walk down the path & go through the wooden gate ... there is Cherokee Tiny House ... surrounded by orange, lemon trees and overhead a canopy of Live Oaks & spanish moss. The house is compact, clean and comfortable. You are hidden away from the world. Brent is an excellent host. HIghly recommend
Absolutely loved little Cherokee house! It was clean, enough space for 3 adults and our pup, close to everything, not only was the house awesome but the yard was too. Brent is an amazing host and I loved his doggies too. I would recommend this property 10/10 to anyone. Definitely would love to go back and stay there again. This was my first time using VRBO and now the bar is set really high for expectations after staying here. Loved it!
