About this property

This cute 2 bedroom house with big fenced back yard and beautiful back porch is set among ancient live oaks draped in Spanish moss. The place could sleep 8, but I recommend no more than 4 adults. Two bedrooms (a queen size bed in one bedroom and two double beds in the other bedroom) and pull out sofa bed in the living room. Bed sheets are all organic cotton. There is one bathroom recently remodeled with nice tile shower. Other amenities available with the house include:
-Fully stocked kitchen with appliances/utensils (no dishwasher) -Fast WiFi -Four bikes for renters to use -Three off street parking spots
-A charcoal Weber kettle grill (utensils provided, charcoal is not)
-Picnic table in backyard for outdoor dining
-Linens provided (sheets, house towels, washcloths, dish towels, dog towels)
-Beach items provided (beach chairs, beach towels, coolers, assortment of beach toys/games, sunscreen)
-Kitchen appliances provided (single cup Keurig, Mr. Coffee drip coffee maker, blender, small air fryer, electric kettle, toaster oven, ice trays) - 3 HD Flat Screen TVs (Roku and YouTube TV service) - Nice sound system - DVD player -Full size washer and dryer

--EASY TO GET IN--You will enter the house using a keypad. No paperwork to sign or chasing realtors begging for keys.

Location/Beach Access

--EASY TO GET TO THE BEACH-- The beach is about two miles from the property. If you choose to drive, there is plenty of free parking available at the Old Coast Guard Station. If you're biking or walking, there's a beautiful, shaded route to get to the beach. Message host if you have any questions about best routes and/or landing spots at the beach!

--LOCATION--
The location of the house is hard to beat. It's a 5 minute drive/15 minute bike ride to the beach, 5 minutes from both grocery stores on the island, and less than 5 minutes away from some of the best barbeque (Southern Soul), donuts (Dulce Dough), sushi (Fancy Q), and coffee (Wake Up) on St. Simons. Not only is the house in the perfect central location, the street the house is located on is calm and secluded with no through traffic.

**we only do one night rentals when it is two weeks or less from the check in date or if it falls on the day before or after another booking. ** I do provide a "starter" roll of paper towels and TP.

Cute house in a nice neighborhood

Adorable house and great fenced in yard with a lovely back porch. The neighborhood is great for evening walks with the pups, and there is a nice marsh side trail you can access about a ten minute walk from the house. The hosts live in the adjacent property and were friendly. while giving us plenty of space to feel at home.

Cozy and Comfortable

Thankful for all of the fine touches made by the property manager. Compiled book of restaurants, bicycle trails, and other activities. Kitchen has incidentals such as salt and pepper along with many spices. Cleanliness is next to Godliness! The place is so nice and clean. Hot water! Bicycles and beach necessities right on the property! Too many great things to list! We will be back!

Adorable Cottage

Perfect!

This was our first time visiting the area. The location was close to everything. The house was perfectly stocked and very comfortable. We loved the back porch patio and our dog loved the fenced in yard. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Nice Place!

We enjoyed staying at this rental! It had everything we needed: all in one shower gel, water in purifier pitcher, laundry pods, then extras: good bikes, picnic table, back porch (that we enjoyed), seating on back porch, ring toss game, and a hammock chair. Saw horse shoes too. There were poop bags for our dog if needed and a bowl too. It is close to things; ordered a pizza delivered. It was nice to sit, eat, & talk together on the back porch. Close to beach, we did drive there. Pleasant memories.

St. Simons Island

This lovely cottage was just perfect. We evacuated from Hurricane Milton and this place was just what we needed. Everything was warm and inviting and the Schnauzers loved the fenced in tard. Our host was always avaliable for our extra beeds. Today, we go home to our flooded Everything. It was nice pretending we were on vacation.

Cozy House!

What a wonderful vacation we had on SSI with a great home to stay in. This home was immaculate, location fantastic, and had everything we could possibly need. We really enjoyed having our morning coffee on the back porch. The attention to detail that this home has is the best.....even a floor fan on the back porch to help with the heat of August at the beach! We highly recommend!

Excellent Place to Stay!

Pictures don’t do this cute cottage justice! Checkin was so easy! Prior to us arriving, the owner sent me a message inquiring when we planned on arriving and stated that he would let me know if the cottage was cleaned early, and if so, we would be allowed to check in early. I noticed On my reservation that it was not listed that I would be bringing my 2 fur babies. William understood that I may have overlooked checking a box when submitting my reservation and stated that it would not be an issue. He sent me a separate bill of $20 for each night that I was able to pay separately. The house is close to East Beach where we were able to take the pups. Upon coming back to the house, there is an outside shower for us to rinse the pups (and us) off. Also, the house is close to the Winn Dixie, Redfern Village and the Fishing Pier. If you have pups, you will appreciate that the backyard is fenced in which was a huge plus for us. This is a charming home that you will regret if you overlook! We are so happy we have found a place that we can use when we want to go to SSI/Jekyll.

Best Rental!!!

Our family of 5 has rented lots of houses but we unanimously declared this our favorite! This house is small but so well stocked and organized. It had everything we could ever have needed plus more. It was by far the most organized kitchen I have ever seen at a rental. We do a lot of cooking and Willy provided every pot/pan, spice, even aluminum foil! There are coolers, beach chairs, beach umbrella, sand toys, bikes-- all for you to borrow and return. We played games, cards and even put together a puzzle. The house is only an 8 minute easy drive to East Beach, which had plenty of parking and bathrooms. Two grocery stores were within 5 minutes of the house. The street is quiet and we felt completely safe riding the bikes we borrowed from the house. The back porch has plenty of seating, games and lovely lights. Our dog traveled with us and loved the fenced in backyard. I was blown away that the house had doggy bags, bowls, towels etc. in case we forgot anything. The location was quiet but only 10-12 minutes from the island's main attractions and about 30 minutes from Jekyll Island. Truly, if you are headed to St. Simons, this is the house for you. Rent it. You will love it!

Cute cottage!

This is our second stay in this cottage! We love it! Willy makes sure the cottage is stocked with everything you may need! He also is very attentive to anything you may need or any questions you may have! Fenced in yard is perfect for your fur children and location is amazing not to far from anything. We usually rent a golf cart and everything is a short drive.

Wonderful little getaway spot

Everything was as it was supposed to be. Close to many wonderful restaurants. Very pleasant. Only thing that I didn't care for was the bed in the master bedroom. Extremely hard. Everything else was wonderful and I will recommend to anyone. Will definitely be coming back!!

Fun trip to St Simon's Island

The house was awesome - a 1940s cottage with modern updates and features just minutes from the beach, restaurants and a grocery store! It was quaint and well cared for. It had everything we could ask for and more. Some of our favorite features included the use of bikes, the fenced yard, the outdoor shower (with hot water!!), a well stocked kitchen, YouTube TV, super soft waffle-design towels, and the hanging chair on the back porch. St Simon's is a beautiful place to visit. We enjoyed the seafood, exploring the island and surrounding islands, and museums. The beaches were clean and even in June we had no problems finding parking.

Returning guests

We are returning guests and chose to return for quite location but still very convenient to stores and easy to get to the beach and village. Most of all it’s a very well kept cottage and has a fenced backyard for your fur babies. Plus the host is very responsive to any questions or concerns and that’s a plus! It’s our home away from home!

Looking to check out SSI

We had everything we needed, it was as advertised, clean, and location was great for us. If you are traveling with pets this is perfect! Fenced in back yard, safe street for carefree walks with our 2 small dogs. Beds were comfortable, plenty of pillow choices. The owner was very sweet and let us know if there was anything we needed, ask. For us, having a couple of bicycles available to tool around on was the cherry on the top, he had 4! Willy, thank you, great job as a host! St Simons, we r coming back to see your charming self again soon I hope!
