About this property

Beautiful Lakefront Log home . Early check in and check may be possible.

One of the nicest rentals directly on the waterfront with private dock. We often use the house on many weekends during the summers . So we don't often book full weeks and just weekend requests in the summer are limited . We generally run weekly rentals Friday-Friday , which has tended to suit our schedule. This is our second home and not a full time rental. If you have any specific questions, please ask. We want to make things as seamless as possible.

Custom built Log Home!! House has approximately 3700 Square feet. Stainless steel appliance and custom kitchen. Nothing else like it on the lake! This is truly a unique home! House includes two family rooms. WIFI is available to stream content on the smart TVs. Upper family room includes gas fireplace and rustic beams that add to the homes decor. Custom maple kitchen provides plenty of prep area and bar stool seating for entertainment and discussion. Full dining area adjoins the wide open kitchen space and has a direct view of the lake.

The lower level consist of a bedroom which includes a Queen bed with four additional bunk beds built into the wall. A full oversize bathroom includes shower and a full size washer and dryer. A downstairs prep area with sink, microwave and small beverage refrigerator. Foosball and card table for entertainment pleasure. The lower level family room includes a sectional with a pull out full bed and a love seat with a single pullout bed. Sliding doors lead directly to the second level patio bar area for beautiful views of the lake.

The third level consists of a large master bedroom and bathroom that includes Queen size bed with plenty of additional floor space for additional sleeping area if needed and double sinks in the bathroom. A loft area with an additional pullout sofa full sofa bed with direct views of the lake.

For Ski weekends . Early check in may be available so you can get more time in. Late possible check out so you do t need to rush out. Please ask and confirm availability.

We had a fantastic MLK weekend getaway at this beautiful log home! The snow fell every day, adding to the magic of the lake and surrounding woods. Our kids loved the short trip to the slopes, and the house had plenty of room for our big family to spread out. The location was perfect for a winter wonderland escape. We'd highly recommend this VRBO to anyone looking for a cozy retreat!Let me know if you'd like any changes or additions!

Great spot

Awesome place, we loved the cabin style and lake front views. We had a few cold days but the fish we're bitting and the fire pit kept us warm. Thanks for the fun weekend.

My family had an amazing weekend staying at this beautiful lake front house!! The house had plenty of space, beautiful views and a very cozy feel. We were pleasantly surprised by the awesome outdoor spaces, kayaks/paddle board and bonfire area right on the water! The owners were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The house is nice and private and the location is very convenient to get to restaurants and water sports. We already can’t wait to come back!

Log cabin with private dock on lake

Our thanks to Duncan and Laura for sharing their spacious summer home for our family’s vacation. Everyone enjoyed the lake access with two kayaks, several water tubes and two stand up paddle boards. Our favorite game of pinochle was also a hit. We hope to rent again next Summer.

Great house for large group

Awesome house on the lake for a group of 13. There was some confusion last minute because linens aren't included with the rental and it wasn't clear to me until the day-of, but Duncan and Laura helped resolve the issue right away and we had a great stay. Would definitely stay again or recommend for any group looking for a large house to stay together.

Amazing Memorial Day weekend

We stayed with 2 other families and kids. It’s an amazing property right on the lake. We had everything we needed and more. House was clean and functional. We spent the majority of the time on the deck which is very specious. Owner was very responsive and attentive. Great experience and we would love to come back in the future. Thanks.

Winter weekend with a group

This is a beautiful house in a perfect location. All the spaces were very clean, and the interior wood design and views of the lake were gorgeous. A group of 12 of us stayed here for the holiday weekend to celebrate a birthday. There was plenty of room to accommodate everyone—we made regular use of the communal areas to cook, play games, and just hang out together. Having the 3 full bathroom was especially useful. The property owners were very easy to communicate with and dedicated to making sure we had a good stay. Would love to stay here again!

BEAUTIFUL

Pictures do not so this property justice. The VIEWS are amazing. Directly on the lake. House was clean and had all the "little things" you need for an amazing vacation. Plenty of room for a large family. Enjoyed the fire pit lake side, the beautiful fireplace in the family room, and the warm and rustic log cabin decor throughout the house. Owners were wonderful to work with! Absolutely would stay here again!!

Every year my extended family goes to Lake Harmony for a weekend in the fall. We really enjoyed staying at this Log Cabin on the Lake.

Beautiful Log Cabin on the Lake

We enjoyed our extremely short stay (wish we could have stayed longer). We visited with family and the kids really enjoyed themselves! One of my children even managed to catch 5 fish in one day off the dock! It was such a well needed break from the city life and so relaxing. Duncan and Laura were very communicative the entire time from the moment we booked and even after we checked out. We didn't need to reach out since we were outside for most of our trip fishing and Kayaking, but even with them being away, they made sure to check in. We would gladly go again. The place was extremely comfortable for our group of 13.

Great location and Amazing House

We stayed at this house for a golf weekend with 12 friends. The house is in great shape and the back decks make the atmosphere that much better. Duncan and Laura we extremely easy to work with and I would recommend this place to anyone.

Beautiful home on a beautiful lake

We spent our Spring Break at this wonderful home. The house was very easy to get to and sits right on the lake. It was very clean and well laid out to enjoy both the indoors and the outdoors. The house was very well equipped in the kitchen and we did lots of cooking and baking. There were lots of fun games to play with the kids. And we all enjoyed sitting by the lake and took advantage of all three seating areas outside. The home owners provided a ton of information about the house and checked in before we got there and at arrival to ensure we had everything we needed for a wonderful week. Highly recommend!

Incredible Property and Owners!

I will echo what so many other reviews have said, the pictures do not do this property justice. The house was immaculate upon our arrival and very well stocked. The location to JFBB and bars/restaurants is great! I was most impressed with the communication from the owners. They reached out to me via text almost immediately and every time I had a question it was answered within a few minutes. I would give a 6th star for communication if I could. They truly cared that my family had a wonderful experience at their house. And we did. Thank you so much!

My wife and I both grew up in different suburbs of Philadelphia and raised our family just outside Philly as well. We have 3 children that have all gone off to University . If not at the Lake , you may find us coaching at a nearby HS .

Why they chose this property

After visiting friends who had a place on the LAKE over one 4th of July . A lake front property became available , but was more of a tear down. So, we put the house out of its misery , and chose a Custom Log home builder to build our Rustic Log Home. Travel time from home is about hour and 20 minutes. Multi seasonal as well . The home exceeded our expectations and it is just very peaceful to sit on the dock at sunset. Hard to beat .

What makes this property unique

The benefits of No Noise, No Traffic , and clean air . The basement was literally carved in to stone. You can have a band play downstairs , and the parents can be upstairs , and you cannot hear a thing.

There are 3 levels of decks overlooking the water as well.

Walking distance to local bars if you do not want to drive.
