Lovely little break

Check in and out was easy and simple. The caravan was clean. Plenty of space for our family. Nice, quiet area (although that may be due to the time of year). Be careful when you step outside though, the local ducks have no fear or regard for their own safety! 😆

Great park and location.

Stayed at Southview quite a few times. Park is great. Van however quite dated and cleanliness leaves alot to be desired - apparently CCS cleaning to be held responsible. Such a shame. Also door hook to hold door back, broken, no lid for bin and grill wouldn't light. Just basic cleaning and maintenence issues which let it down.

Terrible scruff old van

Disgusted about sums this caravan up with dirty bedding and floors, we had no heating or hot water on the first day. Rusted old outdoor furniture I would have long since put on the dump. Cupboards with sellotape holding down the door coverings no extractor. Old cheap garden table coved in sticky back plastic for a dining table that came up to your chest when you sat down making it impossible to eat food at. Rubbish all outside and around the van I had to pick up and not a single lamp in the bedrooms though we didn’t sleep in them as the dirty duvet made my skin crawl. Don’t go anywhere near this it’s just a cheap nasty caravan that the owners don’t care about !!

Very tired looking decor, was likely very nice in 1990

As non smokers, as soon as we opened the door to the caravan the stench of stale smoke hit us. Leaving windows open, spraying deodoriser failed to mask it. This was very unpleasant as it’s listed as non smoking accomodation! The email from 2C Hols with the key safe code gave 5 digits, whereas it was a 4 digit key code? Cheap accommodation on this occasion was a big fail. Smell of urine etc from leaking stench pipe under the caravan, no instructions for the oven or grill. We presumed it wasn’t working as 2 reasonably intelligent adults over 55 tried in vain to get it on. Dirty glass tumblers, wine glasses looked foggy/ misty. These things obviously not checked carefully after each check out. The best thing was the space, plenty of it for 2 people but with the combination of smells we spent more time away from the caravan. Sorry guys, you asked for our opinion. Doubt this will be posted for others to see however.

We loved our time in the caravan. We decided we would come again. Until I received a email accusing us of damaging a floor! Even when I explained there was no damage when we left I was still accused. Wouldn’t stay again!!

Great place to stay

Exactly as advertised, we love staying on southview due to its proximity to fantasy island and of course the seafront. The caravan was spacious and very close to the entertainment centre. Check-in was simple with keys in a lockbox attached to caravan which meant we could go straight to it and skip reception.

Spacious and homely …

Comfortable and clean. Lots of duvets and pillows and well stocked kitchen. Was a little bit cold outside in the morning but the heating in the caravan was amazing. Will visit again …

Nice caravan for dog friendly holiday

The caravan was ok, I appreciate it can’t be immaculate when dogs are allowed in but it had all the facilities needed for your holiday. The site was nice but some of the people staying there seemed to forget they and others had children and were steaming drunk, shouting and swearing and acting aggressively. We left the bar one day when we had gone for a bite to eat as one man was extremely drunk and trying to fight the bar staff, i do not want my 12 year old daughter witnessing that!

Excellent Property

I would highly recommend a stay at this property and would not hesitate to book again. The caravan was clean and tidy throughout and situated in a relatively private area of the site . I was also very impressed with the site layout and grounds (and ducks)! Loved it. Thanks.

We booked as a last minute thing for a short 2 night break on our way home from visiting family found the process of booking really easy with 2c holidays they rang to get details of guests and to book my dog in and text me the day before I was due with the code to key safe really ,easy caravan was very clean and had everything we needed lots of information about the local area I would definitely book again
