An easy drive from this 11-bedroom villa, the walled city of Lucca is the perfect place to browse the boutiques before stopping for a glass of wine, as well as traditional Tuscan towns such as Pisa, Volterra, San Gimignano, Florence and the Cinque Terre with some of the best Italian medieval and Renaissance architecture; super restaurants, antique markets, classical and jazz music festivals, easy access to beautiful ancient villas nearby and endless beaches less than 1 hour away: VILLA MEDICEA is one of Tuscany's best kept secrets!

Accessing the 11 bedrooms, which sleep up to 22 guests, it's easy to feel like an Italian duke from a bygone era.

Explore the area and enjoy a trip with the children to nearby Collodi. This is the birthplace of author Carlo Collodi, who created The Adventures of Pinocchio. Or take a trip to the beautiful beaches of Viareggio or Forte dei Marmi, easily reached by car.
The owners live on the estate in a nearby completely independent villa.

This place was a dream.

From the staff to the natural surroundings everything was just so perfect. We loved our time and wished we could have stayed a little longer. Fedra, made sure every detail was taken care of and made sure our wedding was like a fairytale. We had a minor issue with the water and washing machine, however, this was taken care of swiftly and did not affect our stay. I could go on about all the amazing attributes to this villa, but I’ll just say BOOK this place! It’s amazing:)

Long time friends Italy adventure

We are 7 couples, long time friends who dreamed of staying in an Italian villa as we toured beautiful Italy. This was a perfect "home base" from which we all did day trips to the surrounding towns and villages such as Lucca, Volterra, Florence, Lerici to name a few. Regarding the villa itself, the kitchen is large, with 2 refrigeratiors and 2 dishwashers. The bedrooms did not all have ensuite bathrooms but each bedroom certainly had a bathroom nearby. There is plenty of lovely outdoor space to enjoy breakfasts or happy hours. The pool is lovely although not heated. The manager is a call away and responded when we told her of an ant problem we were having. I highly recommend this villa if you are a group looking for a fabulous Italian getaway.

Wunderbare Villa in der Toscana. Sehr gut geeignet für Familientreffen. Das Haus hat 11 Zimmer und 8 Bäder. Wir haben uns von einem einheimischen Koch bekochen lassen. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Excellent in every way!

The villa holds everything that it promises. The outside area is really beautiful and spacious, the only complaint is that the pool doesn‘t get any sun in the afternoon. Inside, everything is nicely decorated and very clean and all of the seating areas are great for smallerlarger groups. The kitchen is perfectly equipped and all of the appliances work fine. All in all we had an amazing stay in the villa and I can highly recommend it for anyone wanting a refreshing holiday.
