Built in 1937 and completely renovated in 2019 the Guest House EÇA NOW! - located in the heart of the Historic Area of Vila do Conde - offers its guests a charming experience.
It is the culture and charm of this city that we celebrate in the countryside, offering you more than just a simple stay.
Located in the middle of Santiago, the privileged location of EÇA NOW! it allows you to easily explore the whole city, whether your desire is to visit historic sites, typical streets, beaches or just get lost in Vila do Conde.
A few meters from the Mother Church and with privileged views over the Santa Clara Monastery and its aqueduct, EÇA NOW! is located at Rua da Costa - where the writer Eça de Queirós lived, who inspired the name of this House. In fact, this city is punctuated by old residences of several artists who chose Vila do Conde as a point of inspiration during some stage of their lives: starting with the poet José Régio - born in this city and whose museum house can be visited - but also passing through Camilo Castelo Branco, Antero de Quental, Guerra Junqueiro, Rui Belo, even painters Sonia and Robert Delaunay.
Vila do Conde is a calm and safe port for your stay in the North of Portugal, from where you can go on short trips to visit the main cities, such as Porto - accessible by metro (station 500m), Guimarães, Braga , Viana do Castelo, Caminha or Ponte de Lima.
BEDROOMS
ECE NOW! offers comfort associated with ecological concerns.
The well-being of our guests and respect for the planet are at the center of our attention, so we take the greatest precautions in the choice of materials, from the recyclable Portuguese cork floor to the choice of bedding fabrics in cotton and linen, passing for the options of vintage furniture and natural accessories. Each room is equipped with a pantry with an electric kettle, toaster, fridge and microwave.
ECE NOW! offers 5 individually decorated suites, creating a unique experience for each guest. Each is associated with a novel by Eça de Queirós and these works can be consulted both inside the respective rooms and in the small library located on the entrance floor.
They are cozy and bright rooms with panoramic windows where you can relax and enjoy the city view.
