This was such an amazing place to stay. I wish we wouldn’t have planned as many excursions so we could just stay on the property for a full day and thoroughly enjoy. The hosts were so friendly and the Farmhouse is exactly as advertised- charming.
We used this farmhouse to stay at while exploring the Southwest / Killarney area. It was easy to get to and has a breathtaking view of the Irish countryside. The host make the check-in process very easy, and even provided recommended restaurants in the nearby towns.Perfect stay for travellers in the area in need of two bed/2 baths.
We loved our stay at the farmhouse, so scenic, quiet and enjoyable. The hosts were so welcoming and gracious... Macroom was so charming with delicious restaurant options.. We cannot wait to return!

Traditional farmhouse with spacious and comfortable accommodation. The hosts, Grett and Ger, were excellent.
Enjoyed so very much. Loved the tranquility and country atmosphere but difficult to locate upon arriving. The host was wonderful and informative. Loved the fresh bread and milk. Wonderful stay and loved the farm area. Great for home basing. Beautiful renovated farm house and very cozy‼
We chose this farmhouse because of its location. We could easily reach Killarney, Cork, the southern coast...
We felt very comfortable these two weeks. Grett and Ger are very friendly.
Fabulous stay and experience! Exactly as described. Hosts are phenomenal and took the time to give valuable advise. Would stay again if given the chance!
A beautiful property with great views. The hosts were very welcoming and the home made bread was amazing. It’s a wonderful place to recharge and relax. Conveniently located to explore Cork and Kerry. I would thoroughly recommend it.
We had a wonderful 2 week stay in this cute little cottage. It was just a described. Not too far from a great little town. We enjoyed fresh milk and homemade brown bread, butter and jam. Wonderful hosts!

This property was so sweet! It was so comfortable. We had everything we needed and it was like taking a step back into the past. So charming.
Thank you from the McNamara’s
We really enjoyed our time -this time of year can be so beautiful - early darkness found us relaxing by the fire in the evenings and up in plenty of time to enjoy beautiful morning light (and sun rising) … the house is so warm and speaks its history - a welcome respite from city and a great base for exploring (although we could easily have enjoyed staying in all day!). Many thanks to Ger and Grett and family!
We were fortunate enough to book 4 nights with Ger and Grett in their amazing farmhouse this past week. Not only was the farmhouse clean and inviting, with just the right mix of traditional and modern convenience, but it sits in a beautiful part of the country. You are close to most big Cork spots and have shopping close by. We cannot say enough wonderful things about our hosts, who were truly the best- engaging and inviting, with an abundance of Irish hospialityacow
We completely enjoyed our stay. The property was exactly as described. There were so many touches that show that the hosts have worked really hard to ensure that their guests are comfortable. It's a combination of old world in a farmhouse over 200 years old with restored stone walls, old family photos and original furniture with modern touches such as USB ports, modern lighting. It's a very thoughtful property. We hope that we have the opportunity to stay there again.
Lovely historic farmhouse but still updated with all the modern amenities you'd want. The kitchen in particular is in excellent condition and well stocked. Appreciated that there was even breakfast options like cereals out. It is likely obvious, but should be noted it is not walkable to anything and you must have a car to get to a grocery store, restaurant, town, etc. The hosts brought us fresh baked bread, butter and jam one morning, and it is the BEST bread I've ever had in my entire life. My husband and I couldn't stop talking about it and I wish I had the recipe!
