Located halfway between Hamilton and Darby on 4.9 acres in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley with mountain views. Walking distance to the Bitterroot River for the avid fly fishermen or bird watcher. Garden and greenhouse with fresh vegetables when in season available for your picking. Pasture raised chickens that produce fresh eggs daily, also available during your stay. Hayes creek borders the west property boundary with a bench on the shore to relax and listen to the running water. Bitterroot National Forest with miles and miles of roads and trails is located nearby. Twin Lakes to the west and Skalkaho back country highway to Phillipsburg, 43 miles to the east make for great day trips from the house. Lake Como is only 10 miles to the South offering plenty of opportunities for water sports and fishing. Painted Rocks Reservoir is 45 miles to the south on the west fork of the Bitterroot River offering beautiful views and great places for picnicking. Salmon, Idaho is 70 miles to the south by way of Lost Trail Ski Area to further explore. All types of recreation and services in Montana can be found in the valley. Missoula is a bustling city only 60 miles to the north with an international airport and plenty of entertainment.
