Stunning Ocean View In Luxury Home In Keauhou Estates

Enjoy spectacular 180-degree ocean views from this 3 bedroom, 3700 square foot luxury home in Keauhou Estates on the Big Island of Hawaii. The house has an open floor plan, marble floors throughout most of the main living spaces, and large rooms with tasteful and comfortable furnishings. Enjoy the spacious gourmet kitchen, dining room, living room with cable television, and the separate entertainment area with baby grand piano. Sunsets from the pool deck are unforgettable.

The house has central air conditioning, cable TV and high-speed WiFi. The pool deck includes a swimming pool, spa, BBQ, outdoor kitchen and a covered outdoor seating area. The spacious master bedroom includes a king-sized bed, comfortable seating area, cable TV, large walk-in closet (that includes a printer) and a large master bathroom with marble tile. The second bedroom includes two king-sized beds and an attached bath. The third bedroom includes two twin-sized beds and an attached bath. We have a kit that allows the two twin beds to be joined into one large bed if renters prefer that configuration.

We have made a number of upgrades. In May 2023 we put new tiles in the spa, replaced fixtures in the master bathroom and 2d bedroom, and did finish carpentry work around the large television in the living room and elsewhere. In September 2022 we replaced the router and the wifi satellite stations to increase the speed and reliability of the wifi system. Since the beginning of 2020 we have put a new couch and chairs in the room where the piano is located, replaced the outdoor furniture, installed new double ovens, replaced carpets, installed new furniture in the master bedroom and replaced the pedestal sink in the entry bathroom. A new 75-inch television was installed in the living room in the beginning of 2022.

The kitchen sink and dishwasher also have been upgraded since 2019. The pool deck, pool and spa were rebuilt and refinished in 2016, and the spa was re-tiled in May 2023. The pool deck includes a BBQ, outdoor kitchen and a covered outdoor seating area.

Wonderful in every way

This is our second stay at this house. We enjoy everything from the pool and spa to the amazing view. The house is in a very quiet location and you feel like you’re the only house on the block. We also really enjoy the coffee bar, there is coffee every which way you want it. The Beds are comfortable and the house is extremely clean. We definitely would stay again anytime.

Didn’t want to leave!

Great place to stay with everything we needed. Kitchen is fully stocked including an amazing coffee bar with every possible way to make coffee you can imagine! Really appreciated that the owner gives you access to the garage so you can park inside. The house is spotless and even has extra refrigerator/freezer space for all your supplies.

Fabulous views

This home is in a quiet gated community. My husband and his golf buddies were there for almost a week. I overlapped with the guys for a couple days then my husband and I stayed an extra 5 days alone. The kitchen is well equipped with all your cooking needs. There are plenty of linens and towels. Perfect for family golfers or couples vacations. Will rent again Thank you

The home is beautiful and spacious, we really enjoyed the outdoor patio and pool with amazing sunsets. Communication with the owner was always great, prompt and on point. The house is located in a tranquil community, and located just 5 minute drive from grocery store and all the things you need (door dash delivers there as well if you want). If we were to return back to the Big Island, we would definitely want to stay here again. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home!

57th Anniversary Celebration Teip

The property is very spacious, gorgeous views, the kitchen is stocked with everything you need, the beds are comfortable and decor is very nice. This worked very well for days my parents just wanted to rest. Much better then a condo or motel room. Pool & Spa were fantastic. I would happily rent this house again in the future....id love to buy the lot next door and build my own home.

Fabulous Stay at a Beautiful Keauhou Home

We had a fabulous stay at this beautiful home! Our family of 8, including two school-age granddaughters, were very comfortable and everyone loved the generous amenities. The owner has equipped the house with all you could possibly need in the bedroom spaces, bathrooms, spacious kitchen, lanai, BBQ, large pool and spa. Our granddaughters named the main bedroom bathroom ‘the luxurious bathroom’ because of the marble tile! We prepared most of our meals at home and we enjoyed walking the quiet and lovely neighborhood. The beach equipment and pool inflatables were very much appreciated by all. The varied program selection on the television was impressive and everyone found comfortable viewing spots in the living room each day. The sunsets were stunning from the expansive ocean view. We had a marvelous time here!

Paradise

We were first time visitors to Hawaii and the craziness of Wakiki and Whaler's Village didn't appeal to us. We wanted an active vacation exploring the islands and a quiet place to land when we weren't adventuring. Boy was this spot ever a dream come true. The location of the property is in a very safe gated community. The views are absolutely breathtaking. The home itself is spotless, spacious, and well appointed. Ken and his wife are the caretakers and they do an absolutely amazing job. We couldn't have asked for a better property to stay at. We will be back next year! Truly exceptional in every measure of pure paradise!

We've stayed in this property twice now over the last few years and both visits were just an amazing time for our family from check-in arrival on day one all the way up to dragging our sad children out the door on departure morning. As others have stated, the pictures don't do the panoramic view justice for what you can expect to enjoy at any time of day. The house is spacious and has a very functional layout for extremely comfortable and laid back travel with friends and/or family. Everything was nice and clean, well stocked and we enjoyed cooking many feasts together with enough fridge/freezer space to accommodate even the most ambitious Costco trips. For any questions during our stay, the local contact (Ken) was prompt and super helpful! The pool is great and the outside covered sitting area was perfect for relaxing during the day or striking up a competitive card game in the evening! We've stayed in this neighborhood several times over the years and it's a great area to settle in for a week, but this house is my family's favorite and we're looking forward to our next stay!

Beyond

This property is quite simply beyond expectations. The home is located in a quiet, gated community around 8 minutes from "downtown" Kona and set up the mountain side a bit to afford stunning views from the master bedroom , kitchen/dining area and especially the pool and patio. Many of our photos from the pool deck and hot tub appear as if they were Photoshopped but in fact were the real thing. The house itself comes equipped with a full complement of amenities leaving little else that you could possibly need from a vacation rental. Here are a few beyond what would be typical: outdoor gas grill, wine fridge, whole home music system, pool bar, as well as beach supplies (umbrellas, snorkels, etc.). Lastly, the manager of this property really did a great job in communicating. We would be honored to stay here again should future travels bring us back to the Big Island.

Perfect vacation!

This home was lovely. My family and I (3 kids, grandparents and me and my husband) stayed for 3 weeks. The rooms are laid out so everyone has privacy. We loved the open floor format of the common areas. The kitchen had everything for cooking and baking, and the extra fridge was a bonus for our large group to keep drinks cold. The kids loved the pool and used the pool tools located in the grage. There we plenty of beach towels (in the laundry room) that came in handy, as well as beach chairs, boogie boads, portable cooler and an umbrella (in the garage) to use at the beach. Access to the garage for parking our car was a bonus. The location of the home is perfect. Just 5 mins away from a KTA grocery and some restaurants at the bottom of the hill (we tried the pizza, bbq and shaved ice places and all were fantastic!), 15 mins from other shopping off route 11 and Ali'i drive, and it was easy to get to other areas around the island for hiking, snorkeling, surfing and the harbor for a big game fishing charter. Ken, the property owner, was very helpful and was prompt to answer any questions. The neighborhood is beautifully kept and is wonderful to walk through, the view and sunsets every evening were stunning from the pool patio. We truly loved this home and it made for a very memorable vaction!

Almost perfect.

This is a large home in Keauhou Estates, a gated community about 15 minutes drive south of downtown Kona. It sits at the edge of a hillside high enough to provide a 180+ degree, unobstructed view of the ocean and a peek-a-boo view of downtown Kona. Views of the sunsets across the poo; are spectacular. On arrival, it was very clean and the air conditioner (which was essential) kept it cool and comfortable. Furniture is ample and comfortable with the only downside being a queen vs. king bed in the master BR (but it was a comfortable mattress). The kitchen is very well appointed with pretty much everything needed to cook any meal. Several coffee making options are available like espresso machine and coffee pods. The spacious dining table can comfortably seat 8 adults with room to spare. There are a couple issues that keep the house a step away from perfection. Upon arrival, there were several electrical glitches where some ceiling fans, outlets and hot tub jets didn't work. We spoke to Ken, the property manager and he (and the owner) was very responsive and was able to arrange most of the things getting fixed within a day or so - but not all. One ceiling fan and at least one outlet never worked. The other main issue was the lack of water pressure in some areas - particularly the kitchen and master bath. The large, walk-in shower was beautiful, but even with two shower heads, it took a relatively long time to rinse soap/ shampoo off - very low water flow. Odd thing was that the sink adjacent to the shower had massive water flow. Although they have been well maintained over the last 30 years or so, some of the built-ins like sinks, toilets and the like are dated and lack modern conveniences. All things considered, if we were to return to the Kona area, this place would be near the top of our list of potential places to stay.

Excellent house and great stay but

This is a beautiful house and was accurately depicted in the write up. Large home can easily accommodate a large family or several couples. The owner and the overseer were very easy to work with and were most accommodating. However, the one drawback of the house was the condition of the kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances. While they were top of the line at the time most are showing their age or not working properly. Some have already been updated such as the sub-zero refrigerator. The AC in the master BR was not working when we called the overseer from the airport to notify him of our arrival. He was actually at the house with a repairman to fix the AC when we called. To his credit it was working when we arrived although the temp was still sitting at 80 with not enough time having elapsed for it to cool down. Later in our stay the dishwasher broke and had to be replaced. It was old and probably should have been replaced already. Again the overseer had a new dishwasher installed that day while we were out. At the same time as the dishwasher broke the sink beside it which already had thin cracks in it started leaking completely through the sink. Again, the overseer saved the day by sealing the cracks which needed 24-48 hours to properly dry. The kitchen sink is a good example of the condition of virtually all of the sinks, tubs, etc. They show their age with their surfaces faded or stained or cracked just from use over the years. The same is true of most of the fixtures in the baths and kitchen. I want to repeat that this house is extremely desirable with a price tag of its value reflecting what a great house it is in a great neighborhood in a great location. While the things I have mentioned were a nuisance they could have been much worse and will eventually be just that unless the fixtures and appliances that haven't been updated are brought up to the quality of the rest of the house. One last thing about our stay. The neighbor immediately beside the house had company that along with him was very loud. They kept their windows open and yelled at one another from room to room which was impossible to avoid hearing. This was the same house who called a roofer to come and repair several spots on the roof which took a couple of days. Understandable but unfortunately the roofer was at the apex of the house and clearly viewed the back yard and swimming pool we were using. Since privacy was desired this was discomforting at best.

Family Aloha Vacation

This home was much more then I expected. The views are breathtaking from every window. The home is luxurious, comfortable and very easy to enjoy. Why they chose this property

We have visited Hawaii each year for almost 30 years now. I have owned some other condominium properties but decided to purchase this house in 2005 after visiting the property. I fell in love with the pool, the spa, the marble floors, the layout and especially the 180-degree view of the ocean.
