It was an ideal stay for the dogs and me. Lovely studio apartment with a small enclosed garden. Apartment fully equipped and lots of lovely extra supplies provided.
Just perfect for our needs. Great for our two little dogs too. Even nicer than photos! Stayed cool on a hot day too which was so welcome. Definitely stay again if in the area.
Compact, comfortable, well planned and equipped studio apartment. Ideal for a short stay in the area. The host was very helpful and responded very quickly to answer any questions.
Nice comfortable beds, welcome pack including wine most acceptable
The property is in a nice secluded and quiet area and we were able to make our own breakfast rather than paying for it in a hotel which was cheaper and very convenient. The bathroom worked well for my husband who has mobility problems.
The property was lovely and clean with modern furnishings . The owner had very kindly provided us with some lovely goodies . The beds were super comfortable and the shower room fantastic. The small garden was lovely especially for our dog who enjoyed lazing on the lawn . We sat outside to eat as we were blessed with good weather , it was lovely to hear the birds and horses . Didn’t use the car as lots of lovely walks straight from the door .
A lovely break that I’d highly recommend .

Glad you enjoyed your stay Clare and thank you for the lovely review. Hope you got home safely and hope to see you again some time.
I stayed here for 5 nights with my two dogs whilst away with my Flyball team. For a studio it was so roomy and cosy and just what I wanted. Equipped with everything you’ll need including a lovely little garden with beautiful views. There is a lovely nature reserve about 30 seconds down the road and generally a very peaceful area with local amenities close by. Sue and Brian were so welcoming and I also had some tasty goodies waiting on my arrival. Thank you so much :)

Glad you enjoyed your stay Kelly. We'll hopefully see you again one day.
We’ve just returned from our short 3 night break with our two dogs. We wanted to explore the area and be close enough to easily get to Sherwood Forest . The accommodation was extremely clean, modern, offered more than we expected. Kitchen was very well equipped, bathroom was very spacious and modern, beds very comfortable and bedding was like something from a 5* hotel! We couldn’t believe the welcome gifts that awaited us on arrival !
Garden is quite small but sufficient for relaxing or alfresco eating for two and my dogs managed to have a good play on the lawn. We were lucky with the weather so spent most of our time out and about so the studio was perfectly sufficient for the time we were spending there relaxing or watching tv. We prepared our breakfast there and an evening snack but you could easily rustle up a proper meal if you wanted to as there is a fridge, hob, microwave , pots and pans and utensils.
Loads of pubs around the area and lots of places to walk

The property was extremely clean and the host communicated well regarding directions etc. Would recommend, extremely good for dogs 100yards from property is a nature reserve with lots of walks nearby.Added extras were a nice surprise. Will certainly re_visit. Thank you.
This was a perfect place to stay for us and our dog whilst visiting family, It was exactly as stated on the listing. Very comfortable and clean. It had everything you needed. We also had a very lovely welcome basket left for us which was very much appreciated. We will definitely return.
4 nights away at Draughtmans Corner- very cosy and relaxing studio
Very well equipped studio perfect for a short break with our dog. Very comfy beds, shower room great- water always hot. Hosts helpful and welcome pack was fantastic. Plenty of dog friendly places to eat, lots of places to walk and visit. Would definitely consider staying again
Loved it the moment we walked in....perfect for a 3 night stay for a wedding we were attending.
So clean and very "Covid" conscious.
Very clean and comfortable beds. Towels so good my husband has said I have to replace ours ! The kitchen is what my daughter would call "cute"....mini dishwasher, microwave/oven all you need should your stay be longer.
Just 2 small winges (to give an honest review) Hot water not always hot and WIFI can be a bit on the dodgy side....However it would not stop us from staying there again...in fact planning another long weekend as we speak 🙂🙂
And a huge thank you to the hosts whose generosity was much appreciated 😉

Hi Sue, glad you enjoyed your stay and thanks for the lovely review. Sorry about the iffy wi-fi it is usually good, but BT were doing some work in the area and it seemed to effect things.
Re the hot water. If you stay with us again, please mention it as we can change the settings.
I messaged the host a few times before we left and they replied so quickly! The studio was exactly as described, new and SUPER clean! There was even a mini dish washer, fridge and combi mucriwave. We loved the self contained garden and a little parking space. A lovely nature reserve is round the corner and LOADS of places to visit nearby.
Excellent accommodation and Sue and Brian have thought of everything And more for a relaxing stay! Spotlessy clean and a surprise on arrival but that’s for you to find out 😊
