Charming home in a great location on the main drag, close to all the sites, activities, and restaurants in town but just far enough away from the crazy hubbub of October in Jim Thorpe. The living room was comfortable and cozy and the master bedroom was open and spacious with a wonderful king size bed. Thanks, Steven, for your haven in Jim Thorne.

Everything was clean and ready for us. The kitchen and bath were well stocked. The beds were comfortable with plenty of blankets and pillows. The host was very responsive and checked in via message to make sure we had everything we needed.

Lovely home in the heart of historic Jim Thorpe. Everything you need for an extended stay. Close to all the attractions of the town. Excellent landlord ready to assist you as needed. very reasonable rent.

I fell sick this entire weekend. Don’t worry, nothing contagious, just genetic stuff. Everything decided to come and get me, I guess, because I was up in the mountains. The house was absolutely beautiful. We got to see nothing because of my illness, but this house made it worthwhile. Definitely stay here if you can

Stephen's Jim Thorpe property is a lovely 1880 home in walking distance of the downtown area. The home is clean and comfortable. The "eagle's nest" deck provides privacy for that morning coffee while still in your pajamas. The highlight is Stephen's artwork! It is also a short drive to Penns Peak (a beautiful venue with a restaurant), and a park with a lake. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Wow! This is a beautiful property. The furnishings, artwork, comfy beds, gorgeous grounds make staying in so wonderful. The location and access to Jim Thorpe makes it fun to go out. Steve was wonderful with communication and confirming that we were satisfied with our stay. He was clear with directions and parking.

The property was true to the listing name - a perfect weekend getaway in Jim Thorpe. The location was great - walkable to the downtown area but remote enough to be quiet and relaxing. The second level deck and gazebo were great bonuses with beautiful views. The check-in process was simple and smooth, and the entire house was spotless. The linens were clean and fresh and everything was in working order. The owner was communicative before and during our stay, offering helpful suggestions for things to do in the area. We would absolutely stay here again and will recommend it to anyone looking to visit Jim Thorpe.
