A Comfortable Home with the Best Location in Downtown Jim Thorpe

This beautifully renovated, 200-year-old home has everything you'll need for your Jim Thorpe vacation. It features three very spacious bedrooms, two baths, a full kitchen with a dining table for eight, washer/dryer, WiFi, board games, and a DVD player with a broad selection of DVDs. We provide linens, towels, and other amenities, including many family-friendly touches.

The two-story rental sits on historic Broadway in Jim Thorpe, and it's just steps from the Mauch Chunk Opera House and dozens of restaurants, shops, museums, bars, and art galleries. Plus, the house comes with up to three parking spaces—a true boon in the downtown area, where parking is scarce!

Jim Thorpe is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. In the spring, summer, and fall, take advantage of the region's world-class mountain biking; pedal 25 miles of the D&L Trail along the Lehigh River (accessible by scenic railway); jump into a whitewater rafting expedition, timed to the area's dam releases; or hike the gorgeous Glen Onoko Falls Trail. During the winter, use 101 Broadway as a cozy base for the Blue Mountain and Jack Frost ski areas, which are both less than 30 minutes away.

We offer plenty of advice on ways to take advantage of this fabulous area. But please note that our home sits above a shop and in close proximity to neighbors, so it would not be a good fit for groups aiming to use it as home base for a rowdy celebration. We prefer families and groups with six or fewer adults.

This home is the perfect location for an overnight or more stay in Jim Thorpe. Very clean, free parking in town, interesting decor, and the best supplied VRBO we ever rented. There is so much to do in town and hiking trails everywhere. Yes, it is the best place to stay in Jim Thorpe.

Lovely town

Great spot full of outdoor adventure. Make sure to have a plan B for dining out, as the town is pretty much closed Monday-Wednesday from what we saw. Cool walking town!

Jim Thorpe Stay in Town

We loved the location and had a wonderful time staying here. It was perfect for friends for a weekend and we sat on the back deck. All communication was super fast and the owners were very nice to deal with, even going above and beyond with outreaching to us. We hope to return and stay again in the future.

Bike Train

We stayed here for the weekend to do the bike train. Excellent location!!! We parked the car and didn’t use it again until we left. Great communication with the owners. Will definitely stay again when visiting the area!

Flexible space in the best location

I had the opportunity to stay at this rental with both family as well as friends. It had a lot to offer our 10 month old and was very comfortable for us. We would love to come back if we ever stay in Jim Thorpe again! The location couldn't have been better.

Fabulous location

This home was perfect for our two night visit to Jim Thorpe. We walked everywhere except Pike's Peak concert venue which was an easy, short drive away. Beds were comfortable. Window AC units kept house very comfortable despite the hot weather. Thanks.

We had a great girls weekend in Jim Thorpe! Great place, comfy beds, we enjoyed the area, eating at Molly Maguire’s, hiking and binge watching Grace and Frankie on Netflix! Great place for our girls weekend! Only suggestion is some WD40 for the store on the first floor. You can hear every time the door opens/closes

A Great Space In An Excellent Location

This space was ideal for our family. It's clesn, there are plenty of beds and two full bathrooms.We didn't cook much but the kitchen is well-equipped. Instead we took advantage of the excellent location. Everything we wanted to see and do was a short walk. Park your car when you arrive and never drive it until you leave.
