This was an excellent location and accommodation for our group of seven. Everything worked well. Only drawback was table seating was a bit crowded with 4 six foot plus men. All in all though, we had an awesome time in Florence for eight days.

Terrace on Santa Croce

The apartment was wonderful!! The bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious. The location was terrific, we were very close to restaurants and shops.

Great location in Florence

Great location in Florence. Clean modern apartment multiple levels. Cute and convenient terrace adjacent to one of the bedrooms. Although the owner of the apartment warned us about the steep stairs, even the oldest of all party (74 yo) did OK with it

Florence review

The property was in a great location, plenty of space for everybody. Check in was easy and so I was check out. The only drawbacks were all the stairs with no elevator to bring luggage up, no common area room together, and the cactus on the terrace were a hazard especially for young children. Overall we enjoyed the property, had a great time in Florence.

Dear Paul. You could read in the description there is not elevator. In a tower builded in 1400 the elevator was not a plus. There are 2 common area the Kitchen and the terrace. Ps Your young children it’s 20 years old

Beware. Surprise charges

Location and apartment good. But they told us we had to pay an extra $30 check in fee if after 8 pm and some surprise $50 local tax. And you have to pay us cash at check in. This wasn’t disclosed or charged through VRBO. It was like extortion that we had to pay cash at check in for an extra $80. Very fishy and shady. If these are legit extra charges why aren’t they in contract. Be aware the host might surprise you.

We don’t understand. In Italy there is to pay the tourist tax and we wrote. The price depend to the duration and the age from the host. Your review is bad but if I read the detail you put 4 star everywhere..it’s a revenge but it’s not my fault if u didn’t read

Underbar takterrass, läget perfekt, rummen fina men tyvärr dåligt städat på golv och toaletter. Köket fullt utrustat och plats för 8 men då något trångt. Perfekt för en större familj eller en grupp vänner då lägenheten ligger centralt men ändå inte i turistkvarteren. Skulle gärna bo här igen

Die Fotos sind wesentlich günstiger als die Wohnung in der Realität ist. Die Terrasse ist sehr schön. Ansonsten besteht großer Investitionsbedarf. Heizung, warmes Wasser, Sind mäßig. Die Treppen sind für ältere Leute nicht einfach, da hoch und schmal. Nach vorne zur Straße zu schlafen ist schwierig, da laut. Matratzen sind ok! Wohnung hat Studentencharakter. Die Lage ist generell gut! Alles in allem war es ok. Der Vermieter ist zuvorkommend.

Vielen Dank, dass Sie bei uns Gast gewesen sind. Ich möchte hierzu einige Punkte präzisieren: Die Wohnung wurde 2020 komplett saniert. Da es sich um einen antiken Turm handelt dürfen wir leider keinen Aufzug installieren. Das Zimmer zur Straße hin befindet sich im 2. Stock und in die Wohnung allgemein in einer verkehrsberuhigter Zone. Bei einem Preis von weniger als 40€ pro Nacht, kann man sich meiner Meinung nach nicht einen 5-Sterne Standard erwarten. Ich kam Ihnen entgegen in dem wir den Check-in vorverlegt, und den Airportshuttle organisieret haben. Es tut uns leid, dass an diese Details nicht erinnert wurde.

Great place to stay in Florence

We recently spent 8 nights at this property with our extended family. It was a great place to stay. It has recently been fully refurbished and everything was brand new. It was fully airconditioned but this wasn’t required. It was light and well ventilated. Everything you could want was in the apartment including umbrellas and a first aid kit. The welcome pack was fantastic with plenty of food and alcohol to get us started. The location was fantastic. Everything was within walking distance and the fresh food market was less than 200 metres away. Our host Iacopo was very accomodating and helpful. He arrived as we were checking out to help us get our bags down stairs. We were aware before we arrived that there was no lift. The apartment is on the top floor with a great roof top terrace and you do need to be able to climb the 4 flights of stairs to enjoy this property. This is a new listing and was extraordinarily good value when we stayed.
