This property is in a great location - a short walk to the tube, two major grocery stores, and several good restaurants. The price for four bedrooms and two bathrooms is quite reasonable. There are plenty of kitchenwares, and the gas stove was nice to use. Bedding and towels were sufficient. Check-in and check-out procedures were clear and easy. We had a lovely time.
Not a well maintained property at all. House smelled of wet , mold in the bathroom, couches were disgusting, stained ,filthy,one fridge was completely frozen and the second partially frozen, my asthmatic sister in law had an attack, because of the poor air quality,broken shutters,mattresses felt cheap,backyard was unkempt,microwave was greasy, silverfish in the bathroom, we stayed 2 hrs trying to find other accommodation . The property manager offered us and gave us a partial refund but I believe a full refund is in order. Vrbo should be doing more checks on their listings.

Jasmine and her group are guests we would not welcome back.
Our guests are important to us and we will always endeavour to keep our guests comfortable. We are keen to listen and resolve issues where required. That said, we will not be blackmailed and we cannot entertain untruths
A few days before check in Jasmine messaged us with various odd questions. It seemed that she had assumed that it was an entire house and hence there was a ground floor (With bedrooms, etc.). Guests were from the US and the Ground Floor is called the 1st floor over there. We confirmed as per the listing, it was a 1st & 2nd floor apartment. (i.e. no Ground Floor) to which she seemed disappointed.
After check in Jasmine called saying that the freezer was iced up. This can happen sometimes and hence we said that we could send somebody down to de-ice. (A 10 minute job). She then said that the apartment was not clean. The apartment is professionally cleaned but we said that we were happy to get a cleaner in again if she was not happy. She refused the cleaner and said that there was mould and a smell. There is no mould or any smell. She then said that her friend was going to have an asma attack because of the air.
It was becoming clearly obvious that any constructive offer to resolve was going to be met with deflection or accusation. They remarked that they were in their 70s and 80s and the house was not suitable for them.
Since, we were a little uncomfortable with Jasmine & her group, we took the pragmatic decision to mutually cancel the reservation & give them a partial refund. We had other guests who wanted to book a few days later and hence this was a beneficial decision for both sides. Jasmine and her group left in the early hours of the next day.
Needless to say, the subsequent guests were very happy with the apartment. No asma attacks, etc.
Jasmine & her group wanted a full refund & hence the review is no real surprise. The review is full of untruths .e.g. There is no smell, no bad air, etc and the apartment doesn't even have a backyard.
Omdat de woning niet verhuurd was geweest mochten we gelukkig onze bagage brengen. Wij waren met 4 personen. De woonkamer/keuken had alles wat je nodig had maar het was ook ongezellig klein. De slaapkamers waren oké, we hadden verwarming kacheltjes. De bedden, daar zouden ze een topper op moeten gooien, nu lag je echt op de veren. Het is een mooi huis, helaas heeft het achterstallig onderhoud en is gedateerd. Het staat wel in een super rustige wijk, ongeveer 7 minuten lopen van de metro en 5 van de winkels. Maar omdat wij heel veel weg waren was dit toch een goede woning om 4 dagen te verblijven.

Appartement bien situé, près d'une ligne de métro menant à Victoria. Quartier calme. Mais photos trompeuses. Cuisine/SAM/salon petite. Assis à 6, impossible de circuler autour de la table. 2 chambres petites. On s'arrange de tout cela. Il a fallu laver la vaisselle, tout était un peu gras. Frigo top (petit pour 6) qui ne ferme pas bien (le joint tient avec du scotch) et propreté douteuse. 1 drap a des taches de moisi. Le reste est propre. Nous avons demandé si les serviettes étaient fournies, oui... mais. 3 grandes serviettes et 2 essuie-mains pour 6, pas de torchons. 1 clef pour 6. Par contre, le propriétaire a été très arrangeant sur l'heure d'arrivée et nous l’en remercions. Quelques arrangements matériels matériels simples, et ça pourrait être très bien.
Apartment well located, close to metro line leading to Victoria. Calm neighborhood. But misleading pictures. Small kitchen/dining room/living room. Seated at 6, impossible to circulate around the table. 2 small bedrooms. We get over all of that. We had to wash the dishes, everything was a little greasy. It's a top fridge (small for 6) that doesn't close well (the seal is stuck with tape) and questionable cleanliness. 1 sheet has mold stains. The rest is clean. We asked if towels were provided, yes...but. 3 large towels and 2 hand towels for 6, no tea towels. 1 key for 6. On the other hand, the owner was very accommodating about the arrival time and we thank him for that. Some hardware tweaks and it could be fine.

For ALL our guests, we supply one bath towel & 1 hand towel for each person. We also supply one tea towel. Unfortunately Marianne, although we did communicate with you during your stay, you did not make any mention of any issues regarding towel/tea towels, etc.
Yes, there is one set of keys but there is a key box. All our guests make use of the key box when they are a large group.
The pictures of the apartment are exactly as they are. We try to offer a competitively priced apartment that can accommodate large groups that is just a a few minutes walk from the tube station. I agree that there are other even larger properties that can offer larger living areas. We offer such properties and obviously the rental fees are a little more.
We offer a standalone fridge & standalone freezer. We have not added any tape to the fridge and hence we will investigate that.
The apartment is professionally cleaned but we will feedback your comments to the cleaners so we can continually improve the service we offer our guests.
