Good base for London explorations
We stayed here as a group of two families (4 adults, 4 children). The rooms set up is perfect for this kind of group: two bedrooms with queen-sized beds and roomy wardrobes, and two smaller rooms with bunk beds. (Please note, however, that while there are two WCs, there is only one shower.)
When arriving at the property, if you are taking a car, direct the driver down Shalfleet Drive so you can drive right up to the front door; otherwise the location on Google maps drops you off across the square which is a super short walk, but not when dragging luggage.
The location is great as a base for exploring London: a two-min walk to the tube, and then pretty much 30 mins by tube to anywhere you're likely to go.
The ground-floor location was perfect to not have to drag bags up stairs (but note that the unit itself is a duplex). We did laundry once, using the washing machine, and dried the clothes on the provided clothes rack in the backyard. The fire alarm is quite sensitive, so be on standby to turn it off if cooking bacon or sausages, even with the exhaust hood on and window open.
The host was very responsive and kind enough to stop by on the first day with a French press and to answer some questions we had about the property. Check-in was very smooth.
