About this property

2nd line lux beachside apartment with hot tub-3 sunny terraces and fibre wifi

Welcome to our well appointed luxury air conditioned ground floor apartment with 3 bedrooms that are all ensuite. Set within the secure gated complex of Las Terrazas de Costalita, benefiting from a private parking space in the underground garage that also has lift access (no struggling with heavy suitcases!).

To allow you to enjoy the lovely Spanish sunshine, the apartment has 3 large private terraces allowing all day sun and shade - a large front terrace accessed from the lounge or master bedroom (sun from first thing in the morning & overlooking the pool) and 2 large rear terraces, accessed from the kitchen (sun until late).

A 6 person Hot Tub and outdoor shower are provided on the lower rear terrace.

We have outdoor sofas on the upper rear terrace with 'rise and fall' table, plus two outdoor lounge chairs and coffee table on the front terrace. Also, two storage cupboards on upper rear terrace for cushion storage (in one cupboard) and beach chairs, beach umbrella and some water floats in the other.

There are 6 sun-beds in total (4 at the rear & 2 on the front terrace), umbrellas on front and rear terraces along with two 6 seater (extendable) dining tables and chairs on the front and rear terraces.

Set within beautifully maintained tropical gardens, with various pools, including shallow children's pools. ** Please note the pools are unheated and are fully open between June and September when a lifeguard is on duty. Owners know that you can swim outwith these months and do, but you do so at your own risk.** The community's private poolside bar (chiringuito) opens during the months of July and August.

There is table tennis bats & balls and tennis rackets (the Villa Padierna Tennis Club is across the road) provided within the apartment. Courts can be booked direct with the Tennis Club.

There are also 3 sets of golf clubs available free of charge to our guests.

The lovely sandy beach and promenade are just 100 metres walk from the apartment, accessed through a private path and security coded gate, there are water taps/sprays to clean the sand from your toes along the private path!

There is air conditioning throughout the apartment and a new large SmartTV in the lounge giving a huge choice of channels in a variety of languages (incl. most UK channels) Also set up for YouTube, web browsing, etc. A bluetooth keyboard is provided for use with the TV.

We have fast fibre wifi installed and a high quality Bose bluetooth speaker for music.

The modern kitchen also provides fresh filtered water (so no need to buy bottled water), Nespresso coffee maker, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, microwave, hob & oven, fridge/freezer and washing machine.

The master bedroom is furnished with a kingsize bed and each twin room has two single beds. All bedrooms have built in wardrobes giving ample storage (Ironing board and iron are stored in wardrobe of the ensuite twin bedroom).

There are 3 hairdryers and 3 sets of hair straighteners in the bathrooms for your use. Bath & hand towels are provided, plus pool towels, so no need to bring your own.

There is a good size safe for guests use. A printer is located in the hall console table for your use too.

Las Terrazas de Costalita is conveniently situated close to Cancelada with it's variety of restaurants and amenities. Mercadona and Lidl supermarkets are also very close by and there is a huge Carrefour at Estepona. There are various local restaurants within easy reach, including Pepe's Beach Bar and La Antigua a short stroll along the beachfront. The apartment is approx half way between Estepona and Puerto Banus, with Marbella just 5 mins further along from Puerto Banus. You have lots of choice for shopping, eating and sporting activities. Selwo Aventura animal park is about 10 minutes by car for a great day out with the children.

Sports enthusiasts can take advantage of numerous outstanding golf courses within a short drive of the apartment and the Villa Padierna tennis and racket club is within easy walking distance.

Local buses to Estepona, Puerto Banus, Marbella and Malaga operate from the main road just 5 minutes from the apartment.

Local taxi services are very good and can be ordered by phone in multiple languages.

Private airport transfers can be requested (at additional cost).

You can also take a bus direct from the airport to Marbella or Estepona bus stations and then take a taxi to Costalita. Trains also run from Malaga Airport to Fuengirola. More info here:

Why they chose this property

We initially loved the look of the La Terrazas de Costalita complex from the outside and when we walked into the gorgeous tropical gardens and saw the pools we were smitten. We love that it is so close to the beach and the location is peaceful, yet busier hot-spots are not far away if you feel like a change of scene. The amount of outside space the three private terraces give us is amazing and it is good that there are sunny or shaded areas front and back during sunny days to suit our different preferences! The private parking space is a good size too.

What makes this property unique

We may only use the lift on arrival and departure if we have heavy cases, but it is a bonus to have it. The 24 hour gated security is both discreet and reassuring. The gardens surrounding the pools look magical when they are lit at night. We have spent some time and effort making this our 'other home' and the generous size of the apartment, with all bedrooms being ensuite, plus all the private outside space we have, really does make this feel like a special place for us. We hope you also enjoy your stay here.
