Fantastic location, high ceilings and lots of space! Our condo is 1540 sq ft with 2 large bedrooms, a den with a queen bed, a loft with queen bed, and 3 bathrooms - perfect for large gatherings. There are also 2 twin sleeping pads (Bring your own sleeping bags). We are a short walk to Canyon Lodge and steps to the bus/trolley stop. Enjoy a wood fireplace, lots of natural light, and mountain panoramic views. Condo features Wifi/Cable TV/DVD player. Complex has 6 spas, seasonal pool & sauna. Be aware that the unit is accessible only by stairs. There is a Ring video doorbell on the front door.

Really enjoyed the condo. Great views, great location, very roomy, very comfortable. We had a party of 10 and did not feel cramped. Everything we needed was there from kitchen, laundry, TV's., linens, etc. Will definitely stay here again.

Cozy and Convenient

A warm and comfy space for a weeklong boarding trip with friends. A quick free shuttle to Village and Canyon lodges, or walkable to both as well. The hot tub was conveniently located and appreciated after a day on the windy slopes. The host was accommodating and responsive, allowing us to check in a few hours early to beat the storm. We highly recommend this space.

Great space with everything we needed

The place is big and comfortable. It has a loft so the ceilings are high and feels spacious. It was more room than we needed for the 3 of us. There are spices in the cabinet and saran wrap in the drawer. Everything was provided that we needed for our 5 night stay. It was quiet and conveniently located on the mountain. It could have been cleaner as there were a lot of cobwebs, and the stove smoked a lot due to the grease on the burners. If it's a professional cleaning service they aren't doing a thorough job. We notified the owners. A few of the windows would not close due to the latches being broken, but this wasn't a problem since we were visiting in the summer. I would come back though in a heartbeat.

Mammoth Vacation

We loved the inside of the condo. It felt like a home away from home. Everyone fought over this amazing beanbag chair! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. The location was nice, but it isn’t exactly walking distance to the lodge area. I would recommend bringing bikes. The only negative part were the stairs! It was killer bringing all our luggage up 4 flights of stairs. Overall, we loved our week in the condo!

Our stay at this property was enjoyable, the condo is very spacious and comfortable for 8 people. The location of the condo was really great, just steps from the shuttle stop. The hosts were easy to communicate with and easily reachable. We experienced slight issues with the thermostat / heating in one of the rooms but overall a very positive experience with the property.

We enjoyed the open floor plan and the well stocked kitchen. There was lots of space for our teens to relax after skiing. We liked being able to walk to the lifts and the kids took the free shuttle to town to shop.

Mammoth Super Bowl Trip

This condo is so cozy. It has a good open layout, so if you're cooking in the kitchen you can still interact with everyone in the dining room and living room. It's one of the best stocked kitchens I've seen in a rental property. The location is great too. Liz was quick to respond to my questions. I would definitely stay here again.

The condo was spacious and clean, with a great location. The free shuttle stop is right out front and takes you to the village or the mountain. Our group had plenty of room to spread out and relax after skiing. As noted above, the owners were very responsive and helpful, even arranging for us to drop off our gear and change into our ski clothes before the 4:00 checking so we could hit the slopes our first day.

You won't confuse this with a brand new condo, but this is probably the best maintained and stocked ski condo I've ever been to. Plenty of heat and humidifiers for a winter stay. Plenty of dishes, utensils, and cooking supplies for a week long vacation. Comfortable furniture. Plenty of space. Very clean. Our party of 9(4 adults / 5 kids) had a wonderful time. Took advantage of the fireplace, spa, convenient shuttle stop, washer/dryer, and underground parking. For $5 a day for a family, we stored our ski gear in a locker at Mammoth Canyon Lodge, and never had to carry it up/down the stairs. I had thought the condo might be close enough to walk to the slopes, but when we got there, we decided it was too far. There's no sidewalk (atleast in winter) and the steep uphill walk, on an icy road with traffic wasn't going to happen. Instead we just used the free shuttle that runs every 15 minutes, has 2 stops very close to the condo, and drops you off 50ft from the Canyon Lodge. It was easy and convenient. Owners were very responsive to all communications, which I look for when booking on VRBO. Carrying stuff to/from the car was definitely a workout, but based on other reviews, that wasn't a surprise. Ultimately, we had a great time, and would definitely choose to stay here again.

We had a great time in Mammoth Lakes and this place was perfect. Located just behind The Village, we were able to take the town trolly everywhere. It is also within minutes of the lakes so we could go play all day the come back to the pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and bbq. Mountainback is one of the very few condos that have a jacuzzi between each of the units just a few steps from the lower level parking area. The only drawback is that there are no elevators so taking luggage or groceries up the stairs was a bit challenging with the altitude.

We enjoyed our stay and would book again. Everything was great. Lots of room for us and 3 kids. Could have brought a few friends along. Just a hundred feet or so out to the shuttle stop that can drop you down at the Gondola/village. Had a few questions and the owners got back to us immediately and were very pleasant and helpful. Talking with the owners directly you can tell they take pride in keeping this place nice. (I reserve 5 stars for an awesome place right on the mountain, but that would cost a lot more.)

Convenient Property good for group
