This spacious 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom Mammoth townhome. Accommodations for up to 10 guests and a convenient location just steps from the Winter Red Line shuttle, this is a great home base for your next mountain getaway. During the winter, simply walk a few steps to the Red Line shuttle stop for convenient access to the slopes. You’re also just a short walk from shopping, restaurants, the movie theater, bowling alley and the Mammoth Ice Rink & Community Recreation Center, making this a great location for enjoying everything town has to offer. After a day of adventure, settle into the comfortable living room and warm up beside the wood-burning stove. Catch a movie on the 55" flat-screen TV, or relax with family and friends while planning the next day’s adventures. High-speed Wi-Fi is included throughout the home. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals at home, with an adjacent dining area for gathering together. Step outside onto the private deck and enjoy the fresh mountain air. The home offers a versatile sleeping configuration that works especially well for families and larger groups. The primary bedroom features a King bed. The second bedroom offers two Twin beds, while the third bedroom features a Queen bed plus an additional Twin bed and TV. The fourth bedroom is ideal for kids or traveling singles, with two Twin beds plus a Twin-over-Twin bunk bed. Three full bathrooms provide added convenience for larger groups. Guests can also enjoy the complex amenities, including a year-round hot tub, sauna, and on-site laundry facilities. Guests additionally receive complimentary access to Snowcreek Athletic Club. Mammoth's premier fitness and recreation facility featuring an indoor heated swimming pool, steam room, sauna, full fitness center, yoga, Pilates and cycling studios, racquetball and basketball courts, plus outdoor tennis, pickleball outdoor swimming pool during the summer months. Standard 4 bedroom condo. Plenty good enough for six old fisherman. Older place, nice layout, kitchen a little small for six. Everything works as it should. Check in is a bit antiquated…..had to pick up and drop off keys and parking passes at an offsite location. Overall, just fine….

Dirty, Smell and Rat Running in The House

The carpet is very dirty. The whole property is smell very heavily and a rat was running in the house on the first day of stay.

Wouldn't Stay Here Again

The couch is showing its stuffing. I wouldn't stay here again.

Dark and uninviting

This condo is very old and in need of some serious deep cleaning. At the very least the carpets should be cleaned and the throw rugs washed. We've come to Mammoth often and this is by far the worst condo that we have stayed at. The only thing it had that we needed was four bedrooms and three baths. Had to spray febreeze everywhere the smell was so bad.

With 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, this is a great place for a group to stay in, and I would book this place again. The location is very convenient, and the check-in and check-out process was quick. The common area has lots of seating and there is a patio on the 2nd floor which overlooks the rest of the community. There were a lot of utensils and bowls / plates in good quality, and cooking was easy. The community jacuzzi was a very nice bonus.Things to note:1. It takes a few tries to unlock / lock the front door2. Some of the beds are too soft / springy3. Kitchen faucet handle is loose and the kitchen is pretty small4. The 2nd floor shower knob's water temperature doesn't match the labels, you have to turn the knob the opposite direction (H is on the left and C is on the right, but turning the knob to the right yields hot water). Also the hot water tends to run out if multiple people shower at the same time.

The Geezer ski trip

First day, after moving in, we saw a rat(we know the difference between a rat and a mouse) at the trash can, in the kitchen, we moved the trash, and it ran into the master bedroom. We set out a trap, didn't catch anything and didn't see or hear the rat again.I am not looking for a refund just advising the owners of the problem.

Vacation in a Decent Unit in a Decent Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Chateau de Montagne #3 is nice 4 bedroom 3 bath condo conveniently located near shopping and the bus line. It's set up for a large group of friends (or a family with lots of kids) with modest furnishings and lots of beds. Quantity is the key word. It was clean and the kitchen was equipped with almost all of the tools and appliances you could want. It's a short walk to the hot tub which is an added bonus after a great day of mountain activity. I would not only recommend it, with the right group of friends, I would stay there again.
