Located within walking distance to the beach, surfing, Hastings pier, Hastings Old Town, the Castle and St. Leonards. Enjoy the promenade (along the sea) and Bottle Alley (starting west of the pier). The flat is at the heart of the city center where you can enjoy a large variety of restaurants, coffee shops, wine bars, music and entertainment, seasonal neighborhood market market and activities, parks, art, culture and great views. Hastings has many treasures to offer! Your everyday shopping needs include a local butcher and cheese shop, bakeries, and groceries within 5 minutes walk. The train station is a 5 minute walk. Old Town Hastings and the fresh fish market are about a 15 minute walk. Whether you're enjoying the ever changing sea view from the front window, exploring antique shops (stop in the two jewelry stores on Robertson Rd), or on your way to dinner, we hope you enjoy and relax in our space!

Why they chose this property

When Paul was a young man, he visited Hastings and thought he would come back one day. It is one of our favorite places to end our trip when we are abroad (meaning from Texas!). We enjoy the music scene, fun festivals, the various parks and the seafront, and the seafood. There is always something fun going on in Hastings!

What makes this property unique

Hastings is less than 2 hours from London by train and less by car. There is a direct train from Gatwick Airport. The apartment is centrally located to Hastings old town and Saint Leonards on the Sea. The area is a very walkable. You can choose the quick tunnel link to Hastings Old Town or a leisurely walk along the seaside promenade. Rent a bike and cycle by the sea - jump on the train and visit other nearby seaside towns. There are music venues, festivals, seaside enjoyments, and fresh fish you can buy at the fish market every day! Bakeries, coffee shops and cheese! There are also numerous antique shops, gardens, and views to discover. Hastings of course also has a history and its own castle to visit. There is always something fun going on and its always pleasant to be by the sea. View it from our front window!
