We had a wonderful family long weekend the house was lovely, maybe a little tired in places, but this did not hinder our stay. As a family we had the absolute best time

We had a heatwave all the bedroom windows were locked, it was far too hot.The towel rail in the downstairs bedroom didn’t turn off so it was extra hot and the underfloor heating in the conservatory although turned off, the floor was verywarm & felt like it was on.It was a lovely cottage and we enjoyed our stay.We would definitely recommend it

Log fire and Hot tub

The property was beautiful, just as described. Perfect for myself and friends celebrating my hen do. It was well kitted out, everything you would need and the Hot Tub was fabulous.

Lovely cottage very well equipped. Check in very easy and kitchen had everything that you would need.. Downsides -downstairs bedrooms very cold-no ramp for wheelchair-missing duvet in one of bedrooms,

Very enjoyable time with our family being together. Beautiful sun room and cosy, comfortable sitting room. However Forest Drove is a little tired.

Family get together & birthday

This is a wonderful property with comfortable rooms and plenty of varied living spaces - including a hot tub & games room. We were 10 adults ranging from 24 to 94 and all of us enjoyed our stay - there was something for everyone. The welcome basket & flowers were a nice touch.

We had a delightful sunny week at Forest Drove, with garden in sunshine all day until late evening. The house was clean and kitchen well provisioned. All beds were comfy and we spent most time in the large kitchen with table seating 12. Would have liked the outside table to seat more than 6 as 10 of us. Lounge was a good size with nice settees. Outside light not working and despite a couple of messages to whoever was responsible for maintenance, no-one came to fix it (last message not even replied to, which was poor). The children loved the games room and the outside trampoline (outer protection and net need replacing) and outside swings/slide. An easy 6 minute drive to Ringwood, which is a lovely town, with a good Waitrose (there’s a small Tesco about a minute’s drive away), also there are some lovely walks, right from the front door..

We have taken on board your feedback and will see to the remedial work, sorry this was not spotted prior to your arrival which included the exterior light. This had been ordered but not received so an update was not available when you called but we are sorry that this was not communicated to you. As the decking area is limited, the outside seating area is set up with 2 tables that seat 10.

Superbly Located New Forest Cottage

A lovely "Chocolate box " Cottage in a quiet but very accessible location for all the amenities of the New Forest and the Coast. A well designed and very spacious internal layout which would suit many families as well as groups of friends. The Cottage was extremely well fitted and had the benefit of a large deck area leading directly off the large open plan kitchen/ dining room. We had a super time and hope to return one day.

Good overall. Location and property.

It is a very spacious and lovely property. We enjoyed our stay. The heater was not working in one of the bathroom. But the maintanance guy did put in a portsble one. The bath has no plug so can't use the bath for two days until they put in a new one. Didn't spoil our stay. Overall was good.
