We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad in deze cottage, alles was tiptop in orde.Familie is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam, incl alle tips van Victor, iedereen die vanille deze plek echt een aanrader rust en comfort houd,

spektakuläre Aussicht - liebevoller Gastgeber

Mit der genauen Beschreibung der Anfahrt durch den Gastgeber konnte nichts schief gehen. Die Begrüßung und Einführung in das Haus und seine Besonderheiten war liebevoll und ausführlich. Viele Zusatzinformationen sind vorbildlich zusammengefasst und werden ebenso übergeben. Das Haus ist viel größer als man von den Bildern her annimmt. Es ist sauber und gut ausgestattet. Andere Gäste erwähnen, dass es viel Getier im und um das Haus gäbe, das kann ich nicht bestätigen. Der Ausblick aus den Panoramafenstern ist genial - nicht entgehen lassen!

Idyllische Unterkunft

Das Haus ist eine sehr schöne und saubere Unterkunft auf Madeira. Victor ist ein hervorragender und sehr zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Selten haben wir es erlebt, das und soviel Zeit gewidmet wurde. Tipps zu Restaurants, Umgebung, Ausflüge etc. Die Ausstattung bietet alles was ein schöner Urlaub braucht. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt und wir haben uns rundherum wohlgefühlt. Auch die Aussenanlage ist gut gepflegt und bietet viel Platz zum Erholen. Der abendliche Blick auf Funchal ist phantastisch. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Wunderschönes Häuschen in traumhafter Lage

Meine Freundin und ich waren für eine knappe Woche zu Gast im Palheiro do Covão und hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit. Die Lage des Häuschens ist super. Man erreicht es über einen kurzen Fußweg, es liegt inmitten der Weinberge. Die Aussicht aus dem Wintergarten ist phänomenal, man sieht das Meer und die Ausläufer von Funchal. Der Gastgeber, Victor, ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Er hat sich viel Zeit genommen und uns viele wertvolle Infos gegeben, seien es Wanderungen, Restaurants oder zur Vegetation Madeiras. Besonders schön fanden wir auch die Besuche von Abu, ein Kätzchen, dass der Gastgeberfamilie einmal zugelaufen ist und nun gerne von den Besuchern des Hauses durchgekuschelt und (vor allem 😄) gefüttert wird. Im Hochsommer kann es allerdings auch in den Bergen von Estreito de Camara de Lobos recht warm werden, ebenfalls im Haus. Lüften funktioniert gut, allerdings kommen in den Abendstunden, wenn innen das Licht brennt, dann auch immer mal ungebetene Besucher ins Haus - daran mussten wir uns erst einmal gewöhnen. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch auf Madeira, den wir definitiv wieder im Palheiro do Covão verbringen werden. Vielen Dank noch einmal an Victor!

Urlaub auf Maideira

Wir haben einen schönen Urlaub auf Maideira verbracht. Das Haus war bestens ausgestattet, mit allem was man brauchte. Nur für die Anfahrt zum Haus braucht man ein PS starkes Auto mit ordentlicher Handbremse und Liebe zum Berganfahren.

Tolle Location

Dieses eigentlich schöne Haus in den Weinbergen mit einer wunderbaren Aussicht ist sehr einfach ausgestattet, der Weg dahin etwas beschwerlich für Flachlandtiroler. Man muss super Autofahren können, denn die steile Straße will erklommen sein und parken ist nicht einfach. Auch alle umliegenden Strassen sind steil und schmal. Das Haus ist nicht vollständig beheizbar, das sollte man für die Wintermonate wissen. Der Empfang des Gastgebers Victor war sehr herzlich, er hat uns wertvolle Tipps für den Aufenthalt gegeben.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mitten in einem Weinberg mit allem was man braucht. Viktor ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Lage ausgezeichnet. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Honestly: It couldn't be better. It's the house of the hosts family, and they take very much care of all details. Great panoramic view, quiet, cosy – all for you and no direct neighbours (except some geckos and Abu the cat). 20mins from Funchal centre, driving skills advantageous.

Ruhiges Cottage mit traumhaften Ausblick

Wir haben Ende September in diesem wunderschönen, romantischen Cottage, ruhig gelegen auf 550m inmitten der Weinberge, unseren Urlaub verbracht. Victor, der Besitzer hat uns persönlich empfangen u stand uns während des gesamten Aufenthaltes mit Rat u Tat zur Verfügung. Vielen Dank Victor! Zwar ist der Anfahrtsweg sehr steil, aber dafür ist der Ausblick von der Terasse und vom Wintergarten einfach nur toll.... Idealer Ort als Ausgangspunkt für geplante Wanderungen auf der ganzen Insel. Wir können diese Unterkunft zu 100% weiter empfehlen!
