Great apartment in fantastic location

Ana is a great host and her apartment is superb. All required amenities including dishwasher and washing machine. Lovely view. Very close to the seaside, 5 minutes to Plaza Madeira, big shopping center where you can get all you need. Ana is very responsive to any queries and helpful. We will surely return back to this apartment when visiting Madeira again!

Return visit

Another lovely stay in this well-equipped and comfortable apartment, although sadly the coronavirus situation became serious during our visit and life became difficult for residents and tourists alike. The owner was very helpful in booking taxis and accommodating us. I hope that one day we will be able to return.

Recommended place to stay

We stayed two weeks on Madeira in this beautiful villa and can recommend it for all who are looking for a quiet, modern, well-equipped accommodation not far from city center. Also Joao and Carmo took care in the very best way, before and during the stay. We already planned to come back to Madeira to complete the hiking tours we couldn't reach by bus. Guess where we will stay? Michael and Barbara

Funchal Discovery

Property was nice, with beautiful view. Easy to walk to Funchal center. Garage for 2 cars OK but difficult to go out due to small roads and people that park just in front if it. Kitchen well equiped. We didnt know that there were additional towers in the cupboard, have seen them the day before departure 😑 We spent a nice week.

Best view in Funchal!

It really is all about location - breakfast on the east-facing terrace watching the winter cruise ships come and go, then a glass of wine later when the hillside opposite lights up at dusk. The walk down into town is easy and quick, the return uphill is payment for the big lunch or ice-cream! The apartment itself is modern and well-equipped, not that we did much cooking with so many restaurants to choose from. Our hosts were very helpful and quick to respond when we had a few problems and were only ever a phone call or text away. We have tried 3 other apartments on previous visits but if we return to Madeira we would not want to stay anywhere else but here. Enjoy!

Great stay if you want to see the island by car

The da Silvas where friendly and always in touch if needed. THe apartment was clean, big enough for a family with up to two children and the location was perfect to reach every point by car. The small road is no issue if you know those kind of streets in southern Europe. Even the neighbours of the houses (locals) helped with a small issue, it's nice to feel welcome. Kitchen supplies where sufficient for basic cooking and you can eat on the porch with a nice vista. Just be aware that there are a lot of moskitos around so come prepared. The garage is a big plus and you can fit almost all types of cars in it. Thanks Maria and Joao!

Good size apartament with nice view

Spacious apartment with a good view. Two bedrooms (one en-suite) plus a second bathroom, both with shower and toilet, kitchen (dishwasher) and a large living room with dining table. From the living room there is an exit to the sunny terrace (table with chairs and two deckchairs). There is also a garage, I don't know if it's available because we didn't use it. The distance from the center is about 10 minutes walk. Quiet street without cars. Personally, I am very pleased with the apartment and its location. The view from the terrace and the living room (glass sliding door from floor to ceiling) is really great! If I had to mention a minus, unfortunately there is a power line in front of the house and the view is disturbed by cables, but for me it was not very important. Overall, I recommend it and give it 5 stars🙂

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung. Der Ausblick war traumhaft und die Wohnung sehr gut ausgestattet. Kritische Punkte von Vormietern können wir nicht bestätigen. Es gab kein ständiges Hundegebell, die Couch war neu und es gab genügend Steckdosen bzw. Verteilerdosen. Die Ansprechperson war immer erreichbar und hat bei Fragen weitergeholfen. Wir würden dort auf jeden Fall wieder übernachten.

Grösse , Ausstattung und Aussicht auf die Stadt super. Umgebung sehr ruhig. Shops und Restaurants fußläufig zu erreichen.Einzig die Steckdosen Anzahl und Anordnung , insbesondere in der Küche ( für Kaffee Maschine und Toaster ) sowie freie Steckdosen zum Aufladen von Handy und Kamera nicht so optimal. Zum Laden muß man eben immer eine Stehlampe rausziehen , was ja kein großes Problem ist.
