This beautiful 3 bedroom chalet in the quaint village of Verchaix, nearby to Samoens, has an open living area with fully renovated kitchen (dishwasher, oven, induction cook top and microwave), a comfortable lounge (local and satellite TV + DVD + internet +phone) and dining area with a cosy wood fire.
The bedrooms have lovely views and the chalet can sleep up to 8 people in 2 double/queen beds and 4 single beds. The main bedroom opens out to a private balcony with sensational valley and mountain views.
There are 2 fully renovated bathrooms, a ski drying room, laundry with new washing machine, dryer, a 300Litre hot water system and wall heaters throughout the chalet. Off street car parking is available for 3 cars.
Relax on the covered terrace balconies that surround the first level and enjoy the peaceful setting and life of the village. Enjoy uninterrupted views of the ski slopes in Winter. Children can explore in the large private garden and there is a BBQ for your private use.
Chalet La Chenaz is a superb example of a modernized traditional chalet, very well equipped with new facilities, spacious and conveniently located to all seasonal activities in the region. It is truly a home away from home, very comfortable and relaxing, but also private and serene. Enjoy!

Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt in einer sehr gemütlichen Unterkunft. Wir waren mit der ganzen Familie da und alle hatten genug Platz. Die Ausstattung war sehr gut. Wir haben am Abend nach dem Skifahren vor dem Kamin gesessen und entspannt. Der geräumige Skiraum für die Ausrüstung und zum trocknen der Kleidung war perfekt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Très beau séjour dans le chalet La Chenaz à Verchaix.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce chalet bien situé, bien aménagé et bien équipé avec un très long balcon donnant une belle vue sur les sommets environnants et sur la vallée. Merci pour le livret d'explications fourni à l'arrivée.

Ideaal verblijf op doorreis naar de skigebieden.

Niet ver van de autostrade, inchecken met code. Kleine, maar kraaknette kamer en badkamer. Perfect voor gewoon een overnachting.

très beau point de vue du chalet sur la région .mais...

chalet sympathique avec point de vue sur le domaine grand massif . Accès dans la montée pas trop évident pour les véhicules. notre regret est la propreté du chalet à notre arrivée. saucisse en dessous le canapé , billes, tutute , sac en papier paire de chaussette..., poussière partout .ainsi que dans la chambre à quatre lits . nous avons passé la matinée du dimanche à faire le ménage à 3 personnes compte tenu des allergies de la nuit. Dommage!! (photos à votre disposition si vous voulez)

Toute la famille a très apprécié ce séjour dans une ambiance chalet très à propos pour ce réveillon.

L’ambiance chalet pour ce réveillon de Noël avec le feu de bois au milieu des montagnes enneigées à séduit toute la famille qui a soit skié soit s’est promenée et fait des emplettes dans les localités de Verchaix et autour. Très bon séjour !

Fabulous week at La Chenaz, a really well equipped chalet in a beautiful area.

We had a fabulous week. We loved La Chenaz and thought it really well equipped. It was very comfortable and lovely to have a balcony to look out on the most fantastic view. The region was terrific and especially Sixt Fer a Cheval (I hope I’ve spelt that correctly) - what a stunner, we visited it twice the second time to go rafting (Nunayak at Sixt) which was great fun, the best rafting we’ve done in France. A trip up the gondola in Samoens was well worth it for the views at the top and to see the paragliders take off. We ate in Le Mendigote one night and had a delicious meal, so would definitely recommend this too. My husband and children went cycling up Joux de Plane (hired road bikes from Antonioz Ski in Samoens) and thought it hard but a tremendous ride. It’s a beautiful area, the first time we’ve visited the Alps in the summer and would love to return, Samoens is lovely town and having the Carrefour so close was really convenient. The weather was pretty good for us, only two days when there was some rain, otherwise sunny all the time. Many thanks for a lovely stay, best wishes. Mary

Great chalet.

Chalet was cosy but very comfortable. Having two bathrooms was a real bonus. Beautiful view of the mountains. Pretty little village but easy access to a bakery and supermarket. Loads of lovely walks, swimming in the lake at the bottom of the hill when it's too hot. Nearby Samoens is a charming place with good shops and a great market.
