Sat proudly in the hills of Samoëns village, Buqa is a family owned chalet-apartment which offers its guests the perfect blend of a traditional and contemporary stay. Situated on a quiet cul de sac with outdoor space, this stylish chalet-apartment has eclectic interior décor & quality furnishings, a wood-burning fire-place, the latest technology in each room, a fully equipped modern kitchen/diner, a whole floor dedicated to entertainment, this self-catered apartment an air of comfort and luxury.
This disabled-friendly and pet-friendly apartment offers incredible panoramic alpine views from the large south-facing balcony.
Each of the 3 bedrooms have an en-suite (newly refurbished in Autumn 2023), with a total sleeping capacity of 7-8 guests, including accommodation on the grand mezzanine level.
The apartment has its own lockable garage with equipment storage facilities and ample outdoor parking space.

We take real passion and pride in ensuring that each of our guests have the best stay at Buqa; our guests reviews reflect this. We feel we have priced the apartment fairly and in line with our ethos. However, if you feel that we haven't done so, please speak to us and we will gladly look into it.

Buqa is well located and well equipped. Nice, quiet area too, but an easy walk into town. We stayed in Summer 2023. We have been to samoens many times - and this chalet compared very well to other hotels/ chalets

This is a lovely property in a good position. Easy to walk to shops & restaurants. Easy to park. The kitchen has everything you need and more (including two fridges). What was exceptional was the communication. The host answered every question almost instantly and was extremely helpful. I would recommend and look forward to visiting again.

Great week in chalet Buqa, close to the city center and the ski lift. you should think about replacing the cooking pans. and also clean duvets and pillows.otherwise the chalet is clean and Gilles always available.

Hot Summer in Samoens

Spotlessly clean 3 storey chalet/apartment. Very well equipped kitchen (2 fridge/freezers) and 3 modern bathrooms. Located just off the Col de Jeux Plane route to Morzine and 5 mins downhill walk into Samoens which has a number of bars, restaurants and shops plus at least 2 boulangeries and a mini supermarket. 5 mins drive away is Lac Bleu at Morillon/Verchais great for families with inflatables on the lake and a treetop obstacle course. Only issue for us was having kitchen on ground floor away from living room and balcony on 1st floor so we got lots of steps in but just a small point. No views from bedrooms as all 3 face to the rear of the building. Balcony off living area gives view out We enjoyed hot weather so used the shutters to keep the house cool during the day while we were out. Excellent wifi plus a PS5! Garage has been converted to a bedroom but enough space to store one bike. Really nice stay thank you! Samoens Samoens. Lovely town across town.

Appartement propre . Nous avons passé un agreable sejour en août 2024 avec nos petits enfants.Juste un bémol : le coin cuisine salle à manger est un peu petit et pas de possibilité de manger à l exterieur puisque le balcon se sitie au premier étage . Deux chambres sont aveugles ( pasde fenêtres)

Nous étions 7 amis et avons séjourné 1 semaine au chalet Buqa. Excellent accueil et super réactivité de Gilles le gestionnaire. Propreté impeccable ! 3 chambres avec chacune salle d'eau et WC (1 chambre sans ouverture). Mezzanine avec 3 lits. Cuisine très bien équipée, idéale pour 7 personnes. Coin salon génial avec cheminée, TV et balcon, très cozy. proximité du centre de Samoens pour les apéros agréables après le ski. Magasin Intersport à 300m. Endroit idéal pour les vacances d'hiver

We thought it be nice for you to get a brief idea of who we are.

Elan & Piral first set their eyes on Samoens in 2007 and fell in love with it immediately, after many a ski season spent in hedonistic Chamonix. They knew they wanted somewhere they could bring their whole family to, to enjoy throughout all seasons - with something for everyone. Piral was expecting their first-born at the time and knew that this place would become a home from home for their growing family. The picturesque village, the hub of wholesome village activities through winter and summer, the easy access to Grand Massif pistes over ski season, the hustle and bustle of the friendly locals, the arts and crafts, and the splendid breathtaking sunsets...

Fast forward 15 years - Elan is still a keen off-piste snowboarder and mountain biker, while Piral likes to enjoy hikes, apres-skiing and quality time with good friends. As for the children: they have been skiing since in nappies, foraging for wood for the log fire and toasting marshmellows, gaming or enjoying Netflix in the comfort of the chalet-apartment. It goes without saying that Buqa is literally our happy place.
We, at Buqa are strong believers of 'Mi Casa es Tu Casa' and we want you to enjoy your stay at Buqa just as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

Samoens is a chocolate box village in the heart of the Rhone-Alps. The lesser known of the French alpine resorts, the beauty is in the fact that it has remained relatively authentic, cultured and well-preserved. It is a truly hidden gem, popular among couples, families, friends and those who love outdoor adventures.
Each season brings a whole new landscape and energy with it. Our favourite snapshot is the view from the balcony at sunset, when the last of the paragliders are descending the pink skies.
