My place is close to Stockbridge center, Berkshire Theaters, Great Barrington, Lenox, and the Berkshires in general - great views, the city center, art and culture. You’ll love my place because the view from our home looks down upon the Housatonic river, and the oldest preserve in Massachusetts - the neighborhood, the ambiance, the comfy beds, the light, the outdoors space. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). The place is newly renovated.

Wonderful 5 days here

Very much enjoyed our stay here at peak leaf season. The two-story home had plenty of room for 3 adults – well stocked with everything we needed. Nicely remodeled - clean, warm and quiet. Communication with host was excellent. Five-minute walk to the Red Lion Inn and well situated for all the sights in the area. A great stay!

Berkshires paradise

This house was the perfect home base to explore the best of what the Berkshires has to offer--Tanglewood, Shakespeare and company, the Mount, the Clark, Mass MoCA, and great hiking. The space really felt like home, with a wonderful kitchen and dining areas, and an abundance of cozy reading areas from which to choose. Amazing windows and light made it a wonderful place to spend time. Perhaps best of all was the host, Joanna, who made the whole check in/check out process incredibly easy, and made us feel immediately at home. Book early for this home away from home!

Spacious, tastefully decorated and clean!

Our host, Joanna, met us upon arrival and showed us her lovely home. She answered any questions we had and was quick to respond to our requests. It was obvious that she took pride in her home. Its location was ideal for us. It was a quick drive to downtown Stockbridge or a short 10-minute walk. It was clean and spacious for the three of us. It was also quiet, even on a busy weekend. I would certainly stay here again!

Loved being able to walk to the middle of Stockbridge in 5 minutes! The house was terrific with plenty of space, a nice porch, and all the supplies you will need. And even better than these things, Joanna was a wonderful and delightful host!

Wonderful Host

Our host was wonderfully hospitable and responsive throughout our stay. The location was perfect. Right in the middle of the major Berkshire attractions, shopping and restaurants. The house was nicely furnished with very comfortable beds. It was perfect for two couples. The one concern was that the bedrooms were upstairs but one of the two bathrooms was downstairs which was a little inconvenient at night.

Peaceful Home

A wonderful 3-night stay in Joanna and Warren’s light-filled, clean and peaceful barn converted into a wonderful home. We enjoyed every room in the house-comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms, kitchen with everything, sunroom perfect for reading and a dining room table just right for games. When we needed the heat on in June, our hosts responded immediately. We were just sitting down for tea (and whiskey) to play a game and invited our hosts to join us. This turned into the most delightful and fun afternoon. The backyard garden is a hidden gem that goes all the way to the river. My brother, sister and her husband and I loved our stay. We will be back!

Nice property, great location

The house sits very close to downtown Stockbridge, but feels very private with great views of a very large, peaceful yard. The house was well stocked and Joanna was a pleasure to deal with. It was very warm and humid while we were there, but the ceiling fan in the living room kept the first floor comfortable. If we return to the area, I would certainly consider staying here again.
