Awesome host, with an amazing and private house that feels like a high end resort in the middle of the jungle but somehow also a beach house.

Loved staying at this beachside house near Hanalei. Walking distance to beautiful beaches. Friendly neighbors. Peaceful. We wished we could have stayed longer, but our trip was curtailed by Hurricane Lala. Donna, our host, was helpful, communicative and understanding throughout the process. We would love to stay here again. Clean, peaceful, comfy beds. Love the main shower with river rock flooring and ocean sounds through the windows.

It was a lovely property to stay at. I really enjoyed the clawfoot tub to soak in after a day at the beach. I enjoyed all the beautiful plants at the property. It was nice that they provided beach chairs to use. The north shore of Kauai is amazing!Donna responded very quickly whenever I had a question.

We absolutely LOVED our stay! What a perfect little get-away! The furnishings where adorable and tasteful throughout! For less than the cost of a hotel room you can not beat the value and charm of this location! The the beach, just a three block walk away, is second to none! The only detraction (if you can call it that) is that you are literally in the jungle - as is the entire area of Hanalei. For us this was a plus and exactly why we love to vacation here. For some this might be a deterrent as there are a lot of delightful creatures to be found but for us it simply added to the experience.

There are free ranging roosters. During Hurricane Iniki the caged roosters and hens were released into the wild. We have learned to love the crowing. I apologize for not mentioning as a problem. We just don’t think of them as a nuisance

Never needed AC, 1 min drive to Tunnels- which we did every am. Good layout for 2 couples. Comfort with wildlife a must.

Good home base for exploring the area. Short walk to beaches, had no problem asking the shuttle to pick s up at the nearby resort. Overall a very good stay!

This was a very nice place to stay at for our 2nd week on Kauai, perfect for 4 people. Each bedroom has a separate AC unit, plus one in the living room, which kept the house very comfortable, although we didn’t use it that much since the temps were mild the week were there in April. The kitchen was well-appointed, even a coffee grinder. We loved having breakfast out on the lanai. Overall, highly recommended.

Nice little house very close to beach with lots of outdoor space. It is quite at night as traffic stops. Easy to get to Na Pali coast and great north shore beaches. Host was responsive to any questions and concerns.
