Wonderful stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home and pool were very clean. The house was perfect for our 5 girl getaway. Great location - close to restaurants, shopping and the Living Desert. I'm picky about my bathrooms and kitchen - and they passed my test!

Wonderful place to stay

Wonderful place to stay. Nice having a garage to park in. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds are comfortable. We enjoyed having a hot tub. We like the location. Just sorry our stay was during the start of the virus and the closing of stores and restaurants. We felt the need to cut our stay and return home. Hope to visit another time.

Exceptional and comfortable.

A spotless, comfortable, and well appointed home. Perfect for a family to gather, enjoy together and still have space for their own privacy. The pool and spa was large enough for a group. The outdoor space had plenty of shade areas with ample seating. The indoor open plan allowed everyone to gather and share their meals. The kitchen area was very well appointed. It was perfect for an extended vacation. The host and hostess were very responsive to all our emails and tried to accommodate our needs. Many thanks for a wonderful environment for our family.

Wonderful!

We had a fabulous month long stay in Doug and Diane's home. The house was spotless, clean and extremely well equipped with everything one could need, especially in the kitchen, where we cooked many meals. Nothing was lacking! The outdoor spaces were very comfortable for lounging and dining, and we enjoyed using the heated spa and barbeque. We also appreciated the neighborhood quiet hours. Diane was extremely responsive to any inquiries and communication from start to finish was effortless. We hope to return to this tranquil desert oasis and thank Doug and Diane for making their lovely home available for guests to enjoy.

Spring 2021 Tranquil Desert Oasis

We loved this house. It is immaculately clean, comfortable furniture inside and out, beds are more comfortable than mine at home and a fully stocked kitchen. The location is perfectly centered in the valley. We loved walking in the neighborhoods and to El Paseo and hiking on the trails nearby. The best part by far was the big back yard with shade and fruit trees. Plenty of room to be in or out of the sun. It is such a tranquil, peaceful place to sit by the pool, read, visit with friends or have your meals. While we were there there were several strong wind storms that came through causing dust to blow everywhere. This house is in a very sheltered area so we had no dust and we’re hardly aware there was a wind storm going on. The only issue we had was the You Tube TV arrangement which was difficult to manage at times. Overall this is one of the best houses we have rented in the desert and we hope to come back.

We have now included detailed instructions in our Guest Book to mitigate that issue with future guests. Thank you again for choosing our Tranquil Desert Oasis for your getaway. This is the house to rent the next time you're traveling to Palm Desert!

This was by far the best Homeaway/VRBO home I have ever rented! The location is perfect for those interested in going to the BNP Paribas tennis tournament. It's a quick, inexpensive Lyft/Uber ride to the event. But even if you're not a tennis fan, this is a fantastic home for relaxing and spending time with family and/or friends - with many amenities. Having coffee by the pool in the early morning was delightful. The house is very spacious, beautifully decorated throughout and the yard is enormous! Doug and Diane have done a phenomenal job of anticipating the needs of their guests and providing everything (and I mean everything) you might need during your stay in Palm Desert. Everything is high quality and tastefully labeled which makes it very easy to find and use items. Detailed instructions are provided wherever needed. I could go on and on! My friends and I highly recommend Tranquil Desert Oasis and hope to have the opportunity to return soon! Cindy T.
