A Gem House - Penthouse

"A Gem House" is on the attic floor of a period building in a private and quiet street; completely renovated, cleaned and modernly finished. A habitable terrace overlooking the Simbruini mountains, 4 steps from the Colosseum and the Appia Antica
It has a large living room, a comfortable double bedroom, a complete bathroom, a large and spacious kitchen equipped with washing machine, stove, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishes and everything needed for cooking. It has independent heating, free wi-fi, flat screen TV.
In the bathroom there will be a hairdryer, soaps, shower gel and towels.
In addition to bed linen, you will be provided with detergents and everything you need to be able to personally take care of the daily cleaning of the house, beyond the general cleaning and the total change of linen at each arrival of guests.
An iron with attached table will also be provided if you need it. I love my city and I wish my guests could discover it, in all its beauty, beyond the classic tourist itineraries, so ask me for advice and suggestions in organizing your stay, on where to go and what to discover !!!

Upon request we can organize a private transfer to and from the airport or station, but the apartment can be easily reached from the Rome-Fiumicino airport with the metropolitan train in 30 minutes, getting off at the
Roma-Tuscolana railway station, then on foot for 7 minutes, or from the Roma-Termini railway station using the Metro going down to "Ponte Lungo" and on foot for 5 minutes.

The district

You will find yourself in the San-Giovanni-Appio district, full of shops of any nature, from the supermarket to electronics, to movie theaters. You can go shopping or stop to satisfy "sins of gluttony" from Pompi, which produces the best tiramisu in Rome, or eat a classic thin and fragrant "Roman" pizza. Profusion of pizzerias with good cost-quality ratio.

Metro line A connects very quickly to the center. The apartment is 350 meters away. from the Ponte Lungo stop and in 5 stops you reach Termini station, while in 20 minutes you will be in Piazza di Spagna, in the heart of Baroque Rome, and in 30 minutes in S. Pietro with the Vatican Museums. You are 4 from the Colosseum, from Roman History and from the History of Christianity, considering the proximity to the Appia Antica, the Catacombs and the Church of the "Quo Vadis".
