Cute neighborhood away from downtown

Roomy, clean apartment in a quiet neighborhood, just a short train ride from Bilbao (but pay attention to the train schedule, my mistake). Josu was a terrific host, answered every inquiry, stayed in communication. Elevator or stairs, easy access, glad I stayed there. One note: There’s no air conditioning or wifi, no issue for my visit but fyi. Loved Bilbao, and daily coffee/wine on patio at Gautxori, two blocks away. Thanks Josu!

Fijne plek tussen de Spanjaarden en buiten de drukte van de grote stad. Vlakbij kleinere supermarkt, slager en zelfs visboer! Maar op 8 minuten zitten grote Eroski/Aldi en Lidl. Met de trein ben je snel in de stad, Guggenheim 2e stop; oude deel 4e stop.Parkeren is gratis, straten staan altijd vol maar plekje vinden was nooit een probleem.
