Misty Mountains Chalet is a beautiful 2 story chalet with decks on each level. The hot tub sits right outside of the wrap-around deck underneath a cozy gazebo that offers breath-taking Gatlinburg views. There is a quiet creek on the property. The living room and kitchen offers an open concept design. There is a bedroom and full bath on main floor. The second floor offers a recreation room to include a pool table and Flat Screen TV, and sofa couch. The second bedroom and full bathroom is located on the second floor. We have a gas grill on the deck and a charcoal grill outside.

A season pass is available to Chalet Village Clubhouses for our guests to use from Memorial weekend to Labor Day Weekend.

We loved our stay! The drive up gets a little steep and windy at the top, but WOW the views are incredible. The decor is really cool if you’re a LOTR fan and we loved the surprise “guest” awaiting us as we went down the stairs. The location and property were very much well worth the money, and the property owner was so nice and accommodating when we ran into some car troubles. We would definitely stay again!

The house was beautiful and the views were amazing! I took a couple stars away from my rating because of the cleanliness. The bed linens were dirty and appeared as though they weren’t changed before our arrival and the kitchen and floors needed some additional cleaning as well. Aside from that the home was beautiful. The drive up was a bit scary for someone not used to driving up in the mountains but the view was incredibly stunning once you got up there. Also, the host was very responsive which I also appreciated.

The chalet was very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked for cooking. We had plenty of room to park and the hot tub was very nice after a busy day. We saw bears almost every day driving to the chalet, including one peeking around our propane tank. The views were so wonderful, we set our alarms in the morning so we could watch the sunrise!

We had a wonderful time. The view from the chalet was spectacular!! The first three days we saw bears. The third day we saw a Mom & her three cubs!! It was definitely the best place to stay all the way around. Lana was a wonderful host!! We will be returning.

We decided to get married after being together for 6 years and couldn't think of a better place than the mountains of Gatlinburg. We have frequented Gatlinburg several times a year during our time together and got married in a Cabin in the mountains. After this life changing event, we decided we had to have a Chalet we could enjoy with our family and for ourselves. Where we could share our experiences with others that wanted this same wonderful experience. Since we have rented several cabins in the area in the past, we incorporated many amenities in our property that we looked for when we rented properties in the past. We purchased Blue Mountain Cottage that was lost to the 2016 fires. We missed the mountains so much we purchased Misty Mountains Chalet in spring 2017. Joe is a Lord of the Rings fan therefore the reasoning for the theme.

Amazing views and close to Gatlinburg. The property is on a dead-end street to allow more privacy.
