Relax and unwind in this beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bath spacious chalet.
Views of mountains for miles and towns of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. This Haus will WOW you!! From the decks, or sitting in the hot tub, you will see the gorgeous setting sun every evening while grilling or just unwinding after a long day of hiking in the GSMNP or skiing at Ober just a few minutes down the road. You will be able to soak in the indoor Jacuzzi tub after a fun trip to Dollywood or a shopping spree in the Arts and Crafts Community. On those cold winter nights you can cozy up in front of the the wood burning fireplace while you sink into the large overstuffed leather chair or sofa.

First floor master bedroom boasts sumptuous king master suite with comfortable/cozy decor and en-suite bathroom. 2nd floor master is very spacious and bright with open concept floor plan, Jacuzzi jetted tub with en-suite bathroom. There is also a cozy sleeping nook with twin bed.

The bright and fully stocked kitchen with all new appliances will melt any cooks heart! Coffee lovers will have a choice of drip coffee maker or Keurig. The bedrooms are equipped with flat screen TVs along with the main living area. You will be able to enjoy high speed internet using Spectrum. On those hot summer days you can walk a few yards to the community pool to cool off.

This area is lovely. It is in a cul-de-sac with very little traffic. You are on the tip top of the mountain with the most spectacular views! You can't get any higher than this! You may be visited by bears quite often but PLEASE DON"T FEED THEM!!. It is a must see and a must stay. We hope you love it as much as we do. If you have a larger group, but still want your space, we can accommodate them as we have another property across the street that can sleep 7, Haus of the Rising Sun also on vrbo #2140466

Unbelievable views, so nice and refreshinl to see and experience from the top the majestic views God enabled your home to provide us. We wish we had longer to linger / lounge on the balcony and hot tub but we loved every minute of our time.

A secret gem

Great place. Spectacular views. Absolutely a win. You can see the fireworks from Dollywood at night. Quiet, secluded. You won’t be disappointed.

This cabin is not sweet able for a family. It’s so congested small spaces. My kids have not enough please for playing. Too much table , the kids sleeping room are so tiny like closets. Bathroom are so small and tissue holds, towels holder are broken. The bed sheets small bad like cockroach smell. Upstairs bed are shaky, please update it . Price and space one word I don’t like it . The swimming pool closed. No space outside for seating. Uncomfortable.

Amazing!!

The home was in great shape with amenities we wanted. The view was unreal. The location was almost exactly 15m to either pigeon forge strip or Gatlinburg strip, which was perfect for all the excursions we had planned. We loved coming back to the balcony hot tub. Had a noisy rental neighbor and contacted the owner who was quick to respond. The a/c was amazing. We were cold most of the time despite being the middle of summer. We will definitely come back.

Perfect getaway in the mountains. Loved the drive up each night. We’d go down in the morning to all the great things around and come up when we were done for the day to enjoy the hot tub and relax with the best views! Accommodated a family Of 5 perfectly!

Quiet location

We wanted a place to get away from the crowds and this was it. The pool was very close to the house and clean. There is one bedroom that is lofted so not a lot of privacy but a great space. Kitchen is well stocked and has an ice maker which was helpful. Hot tub was used often and we really enjoyed it. Views are decent and the sunsets are spectacular. Plenty of towels but could use more toilet paper as eating out often, well, you know. The road getting to the house is steep and narrow, like other mountain roads, but we saw bears daily which was neat. Make sure you look around you when you open your door to go outside too as there was a bear on the neighbors van one day. Overall a pleasant visit away from the city noise but close enough to easily grab dinner out of you want to. We had a great time and would stay again.

Great property and view! Picked it for the view and it did not disappoint. Lots of bear sightings! Takes about 15 min to get down or up the mountain. Ober upper parking lot is about 9 mins away.

We really enjoyed our stay. The view from the deck is incredible. The property is as represented and equipped with what you would expect. Our kids enjoyed having their own space in the loft. Very quick drive to Gatlinburg and the National Park but very nice to get away from the crowds.

The views!

The views from the decks sold me on this location. Nobody has better views than this house. It was a nice and well maintained house. Sitting in the hot tub on a cool night overlooking the city lights was awesome. I will be back to this property.

Our family has been visiting Gatlinburg for many years. It always felt very special to us, like we belonged here. We traveled here so many times on a very limited budget when our kids were growing up. I knew this is where I wanted a second home. The Smoky Mountains were our family's playground and still is. We were able to become part of this great community and purchased our first property in 2017. We love it so much that we wanted to share our experience with others. And the views from Haus of the Setting Sun are absolutely amazing!! Why would you want to come to Gatlinburg and not get a chalet at the tip top of the mountain with amazing views! To wake up and see God's beauty is awesome!

We chose this property because it sits in a quaint little cul-de-sac with no traffic, on top of a mountain and you can see for miles and miles and miles. One guest commented to us that "it looked like a little village on a movie set". You can't get any higher than this! We sit above Ober Gatlinburg which is only .5 miles away. It is a unique location. We love it so much that we own another property across the way. Also you may see lots of bears depending on the season.
