About this property

Beautiful 4* Self-Catering, by Stunning Cliffs & Bays

This lovely two bedroom property is set on two levels and is decorated in a fresh, neutral style. The main bedroom is located at the rear, with a rural outlook and has a comfortable king-size bed. The second bedroom is set up as a twin room with two single beds. We use only quality Egyptian cotton bed linens. A travel cot or bed guards can be provided for young children.

Downstairs, there is a fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven, hob, microwave, washing machine, kettle toaster etc and stocked with all the pots, dishes and utensils that you should need. The utilities cupboard has an ironing board, iron, clothes airer and other useful items (additionally there is a shared tumble dryer available for guest use, plus rotary washing lines in the garden). The bathroom has a bath with overhead shower and fitted bathroom furniture.

The living room has a dining area that seats 4 people. A high chair is available on request. The comfy leather sofas are perfect to sink into, after a day exploring Guernsey, to watch your favourite TV programme on the 32" flat-screen TV with free-sat channels, or to watch a DVD. The garden doors lead to a lovely shared terrace with outdoor tables and chairs - a perfect spot for enjoying your breakfast. To the front of the cottage is a small garden that catches the afternoon and evening sun. Plus there is a large shared back garden. You’ll love this cottage for its facilities, convenient location and the peacefulness!

Beautiful Guernsey

We had a fantastic week at Ellingham Cottages in St. Martins. Lovely location, quiet and peaceful but close enough to everything you could need. The cottage was well equipped and spotlessly clean, we were very happy and would definitely stay here again.

Lovely place and great location

Our cottage was perfect for our family. It was comfortable when we needed some downtime to just hang out and its location was a perfect location to base our holiday. It's not far from St. Peter Port, it's within walking distance of several fantastic restaurants, a market, Sausmarez Manor, and more. We had great walks to Moulin Huet Bay and Fermain Bay from the cottage as well. I'm really going to miss Guernsey but hope to return soon and would happily return to Ellingham.

Someone came to work on to outside of the house, but would have been good to be informed that he would come, as we were awoken by the bell ringing (unneccesarily). Otherwise we had a great stay!

Simon has family connections with the Channel Islands and spent many happy holidays on the Bailiwick of Guernsey as a child. We moved to Guernsey nearly 15 years ago and now have two children. As a family, we love the relaxed, safe and fun environment that is Guernsey - and would love to share it with you!!

When you arrive, you will be greeted with a small welcome pack of locally-sourced groceries so that you can enjoy a light snack before heading off to explore. We also provide mid-week 'spruce up', giving the cottage a quick clean and leaving a fresh set of towels.

The Ellingham Cottages also has a Guest Library stocked with books, magazines, games, beach items and DVDs. There are also lots of pamphlets, maps, suggested walks and cycle routes and other information.

What makes this property unique

There is a selection of great restaurants, bars, local shops and supermarkets within short walking distance of The Ellingham Cottages. The bus service is only a few minutes walk away and provides an excellent service - including the ever-popular island-circular route, plus the quick journey into St Peter Port.Our nearest beach is Moulin Huet which was captured in a series of wonderful oil paintings by the artist Renoir during his stay in 1883. From here join the beautiful cliff paths for a stroll with stunning views and access to numerous other bays.The Ellingham Cottages also has a Guest Library stocked with books, magazines, games, beach items and DVDs. There are also lots of pamphlets, maps, suggested walks and cycle routes and other information. You will be welcomed on arrival and shown to your cottage. Inside will be a small welcome pack of locally-sourced groceries so that you can enjoy a light snack before heading off to explore. We also provide a mid-week spruce up , whereby we give the apartment a quick clean and provide a clean set of fresh towels.
