We can't wait to host you in our charming 55m2 maisonette in the Dordogne department! Montignac is best known for its proximity to the famous Grottes de Lascaux, a pre-historic site with beautifully preserved paintings from the Palaeolithic age. The town sits on the banks of the Vézère River and its historic centre boasts picturesque narrow streets. Our lovely space comfortably accommodates 6 guests, but can sleep up to 8!

Our split-level holiday house has 3 BEDROOMS. There are two bedrooms with 2 Single beds each and a third bedroom with 1 Double bed. You'll find a Trundle bed in the living area to accommodate additional guests.

Get ready for your day in the BATHROOM, which features a separate WC. Bed linen and a first set of towels are provided on arrival. Additional changes and other essential items are available on site but may not be free of charge. Keep your clothes clean with the on-site laundry facilities (available for an additional charge).

After a day of exploring the city, retreat to our comfortable LIVING SPACE. Curl up on the sofa and watch your favourite show on the TV (which may only offer French channels). Reconnect with loved ones back home using WiFi, which is available for an additional charge (prices available on-site). In the early evening, step out onto the private balcony or terrace and enjoy the fresh air.

In the KITCHENETTE you'll find a microwave, a set of hotplates, a dishwasher, a fridge, a toaster, and a kettle. Start your morning with a cup of coffee, fresh from our in-suite coffee machine.

There are a number of other amenities you're sure to love when you stay at Résidence Les Bastides de Lascaux, where our property is conveniently located. These include access to the shared heated pool (available from April to September), the sauna and hammam (one free session per accommodation per week, additional sessions available for an extra charge), a shared barbecue, the on-site fitness centre, a ping-pong table, a pétanque court, and a badminton court. If you're travelling by car, we've got you covered with complimentary outdoor parking available on-site (subject to availability)!

If you would like to bring a pet, please let us know and we may be able to accommodate them for an additional fee. The properties here are individually decorated, so there can be some differences in the decor and furniture layout from one condo to the next, but all are finished to a great standard! If you have a specific request, please inform our team upon booking and we will be happy to add a request to your reservation.

Please note that a refundable damage deposit of €400 and a small daily tourist tax per night and person will be collected by the resort upon arrival. This amount is subject to change. Please consult the local municipality for the exact amount based on your stay dates. Guests are requested to clean their units prior to departure or an optional end-of-stay cleaning fee will be charged if the apartment is not left clean (€55–€80 depending on size). Mid-stay cleaning is available on request (payable on site).

LOCAL FAVOURITES

We highly recommend taking a trip to the Lascaux II Caves, just a 3-minute drive or a 25-minute walk away, where you can see paintings estimated to be over 17,000 years old! If you're travelling by car, spend your days visiting sacred religious sites like the Saint-Leon-sur-Vezere church, just a 15-minute drive away. Active travellers will love kayaking or canoeing on the river. This residence is ideal for an active independent traveller, a family, or anyone interested in history.
